Wyndham's website is showing ZERO availability for this hotel. When you go on the Tryp Jerusalem website for the hotel itself, it shows available (as does all third party booking sites). Did they stop allowing you to book through Wyndham? And most importantly, award stays?

What was the delay for?

First weather, then flight crew disappeared then refuel, it was a whole disaster. it was all over the news.

A family member was on Delta flight 2385 last week that was delayed 8 hours on the tarmac. There was no food or water for at least 3-4 hours. She even noticed water bottles and was told it was "only for first class." Delta started by offering everyone 10,000 Skypesos. Obviously unacceptable. I suggested she reach out and see what else they offer. Now they are up to a $200 voucher or 31,500 pesos. Any thoughts on next steps? Should she take any of those offers? File a DOT complaint? Anything else?

If I buy the wyndham points now and dont end up using them (I am going in Feb but may be able to get a free apartment, if not then i want to stay at the Tryp), is there a market to sell to other people? I know this is a thread on "free nights" but that sounds more like an anniversary night type thing. Can i do the same with points?

You can always check ITA Metrix to see actual taxes and YQ.

I did that but they came out to 98 dollars a ticket so I wasnt sure which ones Qantas should be excluding since they were clearly excluding some of them.

I texted them and they just keep saying "fares are subject to change." Im trying to explain that this isn't a regular fare that changes every day. Called and the hold time is 1.5hrs. not sure its worth it for the 9,000 points a ticket but might try. Thanks.

Scratch that, I was charged $57 total each ticket. So I guess it makes sense if the way back is about 50. Thanks for your help.

The way back [I believe] taxes are in the 50 range.

 You can try going calling and getting it adjusted but canceling will possibly result in not getting back a availability.

I just booked yesterday evening at about 530pm LY EWR-TLV in Y on qantas with miles at 42k each way and now i see it went down to 37.8. my flight going is available but the return is no longer available. Any suggestions on getting it at the current price? Maybe calling and asking for an adjustment since I literally booked it as the system was rolling out? Also, Dan mentioned that the taxes should be about $9.60 for redemptions. I got charged $57 a ticket? Is that the illegal tax charging Dan mentioned? How do i determine whats legal and whats not?

I have a one night stay booked at the St Regis NYC for this coming Sunday night, Memorial day weekend (superior room, one King bed). Looks like the rates are close to 1,100 with taxes and fees. I've never sold a St Regis stay but, assuming I can (if you have experience, please let me know), I am willing to part with the reservation for $700. Otherwise, I gotta cancel it by tomorrow night. Please pm if interested.
