Just Shmooze / NYC Natural Gas ESCO
« on: January 13, 2015, 10:18:54 PM »
I have national grid for my gas delivery and supply in Brooklyn NY. Does anyone use an ESCO for this or just go straight through National Grid?

Also, is balanced billing worthwhile?

Bought this on Vente-Privee a few week ago and unfortunately it does not fit.

Coat runs a little big. I am about 5'9 and usually a size 40. This coat is probably about a 42 or so mens. Feel free to PM or ask any questions. I am open to someone coming by to try it on. Located in Brooklyn.

Asking $120. Paid $190 with tax. Similar coats in the Jewish stores run for $300-400

General Discussion / Tzedaka (Charity) for the Widows from Har Nof
« on: November 21, 2014, 12:40:00 PM »
I just got this email from my Shul. I am in no way affiliated but think that, as always, the DDF will come together and donate to this cause.

See below- this is a special fund set up by Rabbi Nissin Kaplan, 100% of the money is going straight to the WIDOWS from the Har Nof massacre.  An anonymous donor has agreed to match all donations submitted before this evening, Friday - Before the onset of the Jewish Sabbath.
Even if you are not able to contribute, please pass on to others who may, since every dollar donated now is equal to two- this will be a big help to these families who are sadly suffering so much.
 Please donate
 Please forward to others

Just Shmooze / NYC Water & Sewer Insurance Program
« on: November 01, 2014, 10:32:59 PM »
I read about this program over Shabbos and was wondering if anyone in NYC had any experience with the program?

Reviews I read online made it seem that a lot of the claims that individuals put in for were rejected on the basis of pre existing conditions but no proof was given as to how the insurance company came to that conclusion.

Link to the program..
