You think if united would care to allow billing in DKK only for Denmark residents you would be able to simply switch countries like that? they can check your IP and know 99% what country you are in and auto route you to correct site.

I bet you anything if you asked united before this deal if they cared which country you choose for their site they would tell you to buy a ticket from any country you please. they have it for convenience - if for whatever reason you would like to be billed and that currency, nothing else. and it does not mean you have to be a resident of that country or even be there at the time of booking. This is plain and simple common sense.

This was a clear mistake with the exchange rate, that happen to manifest under the Denmark site. you can discuss the exchange rate mistake if it's ethical or not to buy something when you know the merchant made a mistake, but there was no lying or cheating involved here, plain and simple.

Use your head before you use your keyboard, Please
While I agree with you in this case, very often the sales city does affect price.
Especially in certain South American countries or Thailand.
I'm not getting involved in the ethics, just pointing out that some airlines care.

Does JetBlue refundable ticket charge for seat upgrades? Can you cancel online? Thanks!
Yes and yes  and IIRC tickets to bogota have the more expensive seat upgrades. CMIIW

The EC usually posts the next day or the day after that.
Also when you cancel it's not instant. It may even post after you cancel.

Do you know anyone that did this?
I did it twice a few weeks ago
I like booking right after midnight (morning in israel)
That way you have almost 2 days to cancel it as chase usually won't give you the $300 credit until the EC charge posts.

For this card you cannot do it with Delta only with JetBlue
Kind of.
You can book a delta non refundable ticket, upgrade to EC, and cancel before the next day is over. For example book it at 8am on Monday morning, and you can still cancel it Tuesday at 11:59 pm

The free night can only be used at Category 1-4 hotels.
Annual fee of $85 is waived the first year.
Great for families or road trips if you're OK with marriott 10-15k hotels.
This offer comes and goes every few months so you won't be missing much if you wait on it.(CMIIW)

He prob. means to bump off hard pulls by puting on a lot of soft pull, either way he really thinks he knows it all, & from all his posts i dont think he has any idea whats flying. (no pun intanded)
Wow that's harsh! I forgot they pull all 3 by refi also. Regardless, if you spend about $50-$75 and a little bit of time, you can bump all your hard pulls off Transunion and Equifax.(B* doesn't work for Experian)

I know it's not all about pulls but if you think the lender will pull TU you should do bumpage.

Time is crucial!
Often ticketed reservations are honored, but those booked but not ticketed aren't.
So you need to get yours booked fast.
During today's mistake, I heard people asking for passport numbers, trying to decide which seat to take, fumbling for the credit card that earns the most points...
Usually birthdays can be changed after also.
Middle names are not important.
I make sure to have a Jewish calendar app on my phone so I know what dates to book.
Add other tips below

You can read this thread
Seems like on every page of this thread someone asks "how do I get the $300 credit?"

OP, this sounds like the best advice on this thread. My advice was limited by my personal experience which is that I cannot fly direct from PIT to DTW except on Delta. But if you can fly US Airways out of PHL or American Airlines out of JFK, then that is obviously the best option and BA Avios are GREAT for that. I am also surprised (in a good way) that NYC-DTW still falls in the 4.5k avios band.
AA doesn't fly from JFK-DTW so it's either LGA or PHL.
If you live in Lkwd you should also check frontier from Trenton.
It's the closest airport to Lkwd and I've nabbed flights for $19, 29$ and $39!
Delta hidden city from philly can often be found for as low as $94.

Sell/trade for British Airways
I've flown 30 4.5k BA awards in the last year and a half from lga/phl to Detroit.
By far your best bet in terms I price and availability.
You say you live in NJ, if that means Lakewood then PHL is much closer and less traffic prone than LGA.
There are never saver awards out of EWR.

This is what really ticks me off sometimes. My FIL has Citi TYP, one day I decided to take a look at it and I had to sign up for online banking first... And I realized that he had 200k points expiring on him the last 5 years.. When I showed it to him he was really mad. He tells me,  they manage to send all kind of junk emails, all kind of promos which no body cares, but one single email saying that his points are about to expire they don't bother on sending out. Idiots.
Obviously this is a very stressful experience.
Keep in mind that the underlying basis for the entire miles game is that the banks and airlines can be very generous to 5% (read: people like us) because the other 95% will not make good use of their points. They might expire. Or die. Or close a card and lose the points. And a lot of people will redeem them for stuff like TVs or cameras or gift cards where the cpp is under 1.

On feb 3 I got all the credits that u was waiting for.
Seems like all transactions processed through amazon local register are getting credits now.

For those of you that have the companion pass, it can be matched to Alaskan MVP 75k.
From there it can be matched to other airlines as well. Pretty awesome to get top tier status without any paid flights or BIS miles!
Let's keep this low.

You definitely have DDF syndrome that's mentioned in the other thread.
Just make sure to have Hakaras hatov to the doctor tht heals you ;D

Why do you think do?
(P.S. I hope your not as big of a schmuck in real life as you come of online as)
Because it was suggested earlier on DDF that united gives level 3 data because of their partnership with chase. Idk if true or not. But SW is also a partner with chase.

As for the second part of your post-
Seems your a real chasid.
I was wrong that he never mentioned the Marriott card.
Here's you're rebbe lying:
His quote from earlier today:Like I said, I don't follow the Marriott program at all and I write about what I know.
Does 140K Marriott really become 70K UA?
Seems like he has plenty knowledge marriott and ritz and he even says he plans on checking them out in the comments.

so If I buy a ticket by south west a few min later I call up chase for the credit then I can cancel it is this the way to do it ?
I would avoid SW because they probably give chase more than level one data.
Your better off doing a JetBlue or delta pggm.

There is a business behind this and you have little knowledge of how it all works and the politics behind it.  Aside from that I have posted hundreds of things that don't pay a dime.

For the 3rd time, care to share what your business is? Do you never do anything to feed your family first?
None of your DAN business!

Why is Hakaras hatov a contradiction to saying that we would like to see you care more about readers and less about refferals?
You're a great blogger and we all learned and gained a ton from you.
