OTR :P

They could learn a few lessons from DL.

Today I received an email from DL regarding a refund for an error on their part when I
did a recent booking and they threw in an extra $100 voucher as a courtesy without asking.

This current booking is still a present from DL for the Priceline glitch of last yr-At that time they gave me $900 in vouchers on the 1st day of the glitch and a few days later they honored the priceline booking as well.

I call it the gift that keeps on giving.

You're 100% right
What did HAS do to violate their agreement? (if you can say)

Re: HAS
Dan, did you discuss the way LY treated the HAS customers who had no recourse to a solution to use their points on LY (except for 1% cashout)-no warning was given on this. One day those points had value and the next they didn't....

What are the different options for health insurance in Israel for a student who will be there for 6 months?
Pricing/quality of care/access to care

How do you purchase it?
One yeshiva quoted $1 /day for Meheudet (??) -is that a normal rate?

I don't know anything about their health care.
Please advise
TIA

Someone just told me Disney Quest is really fun, even for adults. Anyone ever go there?

Boring and very expensive

We went to Orlando a few weeks before last pesach right after our wedding for 2 days. Stayed in the Sheraton lake buena vista. It's right near Disney and has a free shuttle going to all the parks. I've been to Magic Kingdom before but my wife hadn't. But as they always say "doing the something you've done when you are single, with your wife is a totally different experience". The lines were really long but we definitely enjoyed it. Definitely worth going even without kids if you've never been there before. The 2nd day we went to Island of Adventures. We are more the roller coaster/ rides type than shows. So we had a blast there!! The lines were much shorter and you can tell that the park was more geared to our age type, being that we didn't bump into carriages everywhere like in Disney. I even worked out a few fast passes for free by the customer service desk. . I also have a way to get free parking for the Universal parks that really anyone can also use pretty easily. I've been to Universal Studios in LA so many times that I didn't feel it was necessary to go to the one in Orlando. It's supposed to be pretty similar.
My sister went with her husband a week later and did both universal parks in one day. She said that they were rushing the whole time just so that they could do everything in both parks. She said that next time she wouldn't do it cause she didn't have any time to relax.
IMHO Magic Kingdom, and both Universal parks (in 2 days) are the way to go for your three days!!!

How do you get free parking @ universal?
Any tricks for doing the same @ disney/sea world?

if you like coasters, harry potter-then go to universal -only 2 days total needed to see both parks.

if you like disney films- go there- EVEN without kids-each disney park has it's charm

If you only want one disney  park- start with Magic Kingdom. (still my favorite)
Tickets are very pricey even with discounts.-so
when we go, one time it's a disney parks vacation-
and the next vacation we go to universal/sea world-it ends up being less $/ day

If new to Orlando-Each park is a day-don't waste your $ on park hopping-- it might make sense to some if you've been there before.

Kennedy space center- went there about 10 yrs ago but may be boring for some.

We've stayed in rental homes in Orlando and in vacation suites at the sheraton beuna vista. The benefit of private home is that you have your own pool. You can find great homes for just as cheap as a hotel. The reason we stayed at the Sheraton was because we were able to use points.

FYI in terms of cleanliness, just look for a home that has a management company as opposed to private home managed by owners.
which rental home communities were you happy with?
