Vzw s4 will work fine with the tmobile sim in those countries

which phone did you use with the T-Mobile SIM and what countries were you traveling at the time?

I read through the entire thread.

I'm still looking for multiple experiences of people using their Verizon phones and swapping out the Verizon SIM
for the T mobile SIM
 I have a Samsung S4.
Will this combo work in Europe (France) and in Israel?

Looking for web browsing, WAZE capability---what's the consensus?

It's completely irrelevant how much data you have. T-mobile simple choice plans offer unlimited data, it's only the 4G data that's capped. Since they don't offer 4G data while roaming you are not using any of your limited data. Granted that you might get 3G speeds while abroad, but it is unlimited, so no need to worry. Just go for the cheapest plan and cancel when you get back. I had a good experience with them prorating it.

I have a verizon phone- do you know of any issues using tmobile?
verizon rep said their phone are incompatible on some networks (esp AT&T)
was wondering if you knew anything about T-Mobile
thank you

SIM cards cost .99 direct from T-Mobile
 yes

Do you have to start your monthly service at the same time you purchase the SIM card?
Wanted to buy it now and then activate it before we travel
Planning to be away for 10 days in total-is there a shorter term you can get a plan for?

Seems their plans $50 to $60 per month depending on how much data you need?
How much data would be enough------guesses anyone?

Less than $25 on Ebay. That was always my go to travel phone plan.

$25 is for the T-Mobile SIM card, correct?
then need to buy a plan? can you clarify

Would T-Mobile also work using it in Israel?

Have read 100 of the 150 pages in this thread so far-
Many TR's --talking about food and PH.

What have people done for cell service/data in Paris?

I read about getting a sim card at the airport
but will be there for less than a day and arriving at 5 am- not sure if the kiosks will be open
at that time.  How do they charge you for the SIM-per day or per GB of data?
What do you suggest?

Yes, I'm asking if you can store your carry-on bags at the airport- if so , where?

Trying to concentrate touring in one area for the most part-which includes food so I don't spend alot of time commuting from one part of the city to the other
for just one attraction/site.
Sorry, moped is not going to work. I'll be too nervous.

Segway is an interesting idea, though.
Anyone ever do it there?

Which ARR packs the most sites?
Maybe could hit a couple of them in the time I have?
We won't be spending any time in museums.

How long is the commute from the airport (bus or train)?
I read Dan's TR already.

Thanks for the comments.
Keep them coming...........

I've heard that the absolute best way to experience Paris is to rent a tus tus for the day and then you can really get around... I would take the subway into the city from the airport and work from there. Start with breakfast some touring a late lunch and back to the airport. You should have plenty of time.

what's a Tus Tus?
if that's a bike...not for me and the Mrs.

Due to my time constraint, I'd like more detail on where to head to and where to eat.

Have 12-14 hr stopover in Paris with my wife.
arriving @ 5 AM local time
She's never been there - I was here about 25 yrs ago.
Even had an Israeli cab driver take me to a wonderful restaurant back then...

Need suggestions on how to make the most of it--
from travelling to and from the airport  to which eateries are available in the locale we go to.

I presume our bags will go to our final destination so that shouldn't be a concern.
How much time should we allow for check in when we return to the airport?

What do you think?
TIA
