I'm sure this is not new information for those with considerable experience loading GCs to BB at WM ATM, but I have noticed that I occasionally get error messages when I try to deposit the entire $200 GC. One workaround seems to be to lower the deposit amount to $199.99, and then sometimes need to lower it to $199.98 or even $199.97.  It  seems like it's a quirk of the machine I'm using, but maybe others have had similar experience?

For what it's worth, my two teens' cards arrived today, about 10 calendar days after I registered for them, YMMV.

the score lags behind so they might not be included. what is more interesting is your score went from 810 to 840 in a month. any big changes to your credit file?

Sorry, meant to quote this message above.

No big changes, other than all the new Chase accounts, opened in June. And a fair amount of spending and paying off on those cards.  But no new loans, no loans paid off, nothing like that.  And the 810 to 840 was over 2 months, FWIW.

Wiki first pass completed.

Please post constructive comments (or PM is fine too, if you think it warrants that).

If you didn't want a wiki, and have just thrown your hat on the ground and stomped on it in frustration, I don't want to hear from you.  ;)

Yasher koach!  I smiled at the last comment about the teen.

how recently did you open the cards. does your score include this info?

Opened the first cc around June 1.

I don't see any details on the Barclay's FICO site to determine whether the score includes the recent openings.

I do see that my score was about 810 in early May and then the 840 was early July.

I have a Barclay's US Airways MasterCard, and I just checked my FICO score.  It says it is 840.  I'm just a little surprised it's so good.  I recently opened 5 new Chase credit card accounts, and we have a huge mortgage and a HELOC.  Yes, we always pay our CC's in full each month, but is it possible my FICO score is almost perfect?

And, if it's that good, should I be leveraging it more?  (I.e., open more and more CC accounts?)

Thanks in advance.

Thank you! Have been looking for one for a while, it is amazon so if no good then back it goes

Yes, like Costco, and LL Bean....

Still plenty of money but amazing deal if needed Anyways.

Just pulled the trigger.  Looks like a really great deal. Have been shopping for patio furniture for a while...ridiculously expensive, and this looks like great value.  Thanks!

So, the Stop and Shop Circular advertisement showed up in the mail today, and I got VERY excited, because I saw "5x Gas Points". And then I saw gift cards.  But, my enthusiasm completely deflated when I saw the gift cards were for the The Gap (and affiliates).  Not that I have anything against The Gap, but I really don't need $500 (or, more optimistically, $2000 or $4000) worth of Gap gift cards...unless someone knows of a way that they can be liquidated.  Anyone? ???

You can do $3000 from GO and the rest with GCs and it'll still be (at least a little) easier.
+ most of us (i think) don't get $5000 worth of GCs at once, so being able to load 3k from your phone and saving you a trip (stop) to a supermarket also helps.

Just a friendly amendment:  It may be easier to load the $3000 directly from your credit card to the TD card via the Web, but you are "only" getting 1 point per dollar transferred.  When you buy gift cards, say from Staples with Ink, you get 5 points per dollar.

Also, just asking again, does anyone have experience using TD Go to pay bills via Evolve Money?

Does anyone know if you can use the TD Go to pay bills on Evolve Money? Presumably it should be fine, but I haven't gotten my card yet so haven't tried.'s been a week since I first ordered my TD Go cards.  Should I be concerned it's taking this long?

They charge you interest when the statement closes so you won't be able to see it until then.
Thanks.  Here's hoping.... :-\

DD link:

I can't find anywhere in their terms and conditions where it says "limit one offer [or account] per person".  Do we know what the limit is on how many times one person / family/ address can use this offer?

There are many 7-Eleven stores in the New York area. I only tried one and was brushed off by the cashier and his supervisor. At that point I decided to avoid frustration and take care of this stuff elsewhere. I'm not saying you can't do this in the NY area, only that it's much easier elsewhere.

I have tried several 7-Eleven (and why is it 7-Eleven, not 7-11, or even Seven-Eleven or Seven-11?) stores in the Boston area and had zero success.  They try but does not go through.
