The bonus is tied to you spending what they say say you need to spend in whatever time frame. I don't see them saying that you will receive the bonus upon paying the AF.
JIirc you can ask to have pending points expedited if the AF was paid.

Correct.  Most issuers report highest balance and payment history, but none of this is considered by FICO.

This information should not be confused as "mid-cycle" reporting.
Great, I always worried about that. I have a card that I transferred some credit limit over to another account, and now the High Balance is much more than the total credit limit. So no worries about that?

Amex exclusions T&C:
18. personal hygiene items (including, but not limited to, all electrical or non-electrical toothbrushes, razors, or any devices (medical or non-medical) that have been personally used and could be considered a health risk to others);

Are all shavers excluded or just if they were "personally used"?
I never noticed that, but I returned a shaver blade and was refunded.

Does BofA pull your credit when asking for a credit line increase ?
Yes. In my experience it was a hard pull.

Doesn't make sense, where do you check your reports?
I've also seen that they report the highest balance as an amount that never actually posted on a statement, but had been on the account at some point in the cycle.

Sweet, but probably just going to be for this quarter as the card was registered for it already.
Only a difference of 750 points assuming I'm correct.
But maybe that means I don't need to hold off on doing the product change until I max out.

Does the cable offer work for Optimum if I only have internet?
Worked for me with Time Warner Cable last time. I only have phone service with them. I remember seeing in the T&Cs that any charges lumped together that are charged on your bill will be eligible, as long as it's a cable company.

Anyone want a free Cable offer? $30 off $300

How do you go about doing that? I also have a few Hulu offers I probably won't be using.

That's a lot of worrying over a blah 15000 UR's.  And there's no need to have multiple FU since they are uncapped on earnings
You never know if they'll have an increased signup bonus in the future. I was thinking to PC now and then switch away when I want to apply at a later time (when 5/24 will work out). Since technically it's not a new card and it's with no signup, I can't see why you'll need to wait 24 months from when you switched away.

You mean deals for buying Amazon GC's?

If you found a card that reports $1, then by all means use that card.  The idea is to have the smallest amount possible report that is greater than $0.
I was wondering how it reported at $2...

That number is the fraud team, not FR. Likely it was a fraud alert that was "supposedly" resolved (you'll never know until you try using the card again) and the rep decided to call it an FR.

It's possible that the purchase was pushing up against your internal credit line, but that's highly unlikely.
This theory might explain why the alert was on 1 account only.

And that it was resolved without them talking to me...
That I've already had many times...

I tried buying GCs at CVS last night on my MB Plat. and charge was declined so I logged into the app and checked my email to see if there was a fraud alert but there wasn't anything, so I just pulled out my regular Plat. and the charge went through.

This morning, got a missed call from 888-800-5234 but no voicemail. Googled the number and found mixed reviews as to whether or not it was the fraud dept. or a scam number. Called the number on the back of my card to see if it was a legit call and the rep said that last night, my MB Plat. account was placed under financial review but that it's since been cleared up and I'm free to use my card. Thing is, I never called them last night and I never got that message that spending has been suspended. And I happened to have used the card earlier this morning (small purchase) and the charge went through.

Anyone experience something similar to this? Should I tread carefully for the next few days?
Interesting that there's FR on 1 account only, and not all of them.

A lot of dimes the sign up bonus can post even 3 days after finished the spend.
But what about the spend points?
