Gd willing my wife and i will be travelling with our first kid in the coming months. It'll be about 6 months old at the time. We'd like to go away in March, before the clocks change. Is a 9:10pm, flight too risky (shabbas ends 6:38pm)? Flying out of JFK. From our home, on a saturday night leaving at 7, Google maps says it can take 35 minutes to an hour (this is estimated). Too risky with an infant?

Why would the infant make a difference?

Booked 2 adults and a lap child only to realize once the fare was dead that it would've been the exact same price to book a separate seat for infant. Kicking myself so hard right now

Bose noise cancelling headphones did not work properly, there was no active noise cancellation, both I and my seatmate compared and confirmed.
this hampered my ability to rest and sleep, on a very very long flight.

I went ahead to book a Round trip ticket again to the US for November got charged 160 for the change fee and .69 fare difference.

What change fee? Thought you cancelled and booked new ticket?

Does Avios not let you book local flights? BA does fly that route!

Egypt is a big country ya know... Looking more for DDF members with recent experience in Taba. Don't need the US to tell me about terrorist threats in greater Egypt, but thanks anyway.
