IME if they dont like what you're doing they shut you down...they will not go back and charge for a past ride, once you rode free you will not get charged

And then you start all over again ;-)

Because sometimes, the only reason you're taking that $20 ride is because you know it's free (i.e. if you knew up front that it would cost money, you would've borrowed someone's car and driven yourself, for example).

They can charge the CC you provided, instead of the ride being free.

if your actually worried make a (fake) business card (from Vista print) with your name and that company,
I was told that that works,
But you would need to do it casually..

I've rented many times and took of taxes, the option to take off the taxes is not on the same page that the agent sees if front of them, I belive it's the second one down... Btw where are you renting from?

So I should tell the guy to scroll down, and he should see it?

Hi, I was wondering, does anyone know what hertz is supposed to do to activate tax exempt?
I'm renting for my school and we should not be paying tax, I bought in the tax exempt, but they had no idea what to do?
Any ideas?
