Credit Cards / Re: The Target Prepaid REDcard

true, but that's at the 'end of the day'. It may not even be "noon" yet (of 'that' Target day) and they will need to teach their thousands of cashiers, step-by-step, along with policy, FAQs, etc...
So let's help them out and teach them now ;-)

Yes it is, at the end of the day, every target is supposed to load...

wife just tried to load in brooklyn and cashier sent her to cs and they said cant load with a cc since its loading a cc with a cc...
You also don't need to say its a cc b4 you swipe, just tell them you want to load it, the system will say you need id bc it's a cc, it will also request the last 4 digest, all these things don't happen when your using a debit..
Obviously you CAN use a credit card, they just don't know,
We need to educate them on there job :-p

Did anybody have insurance problems using Chabad?
It should be very easy to prove that were chabad, as long as you actually are..
But that's what it's made for

1) They'll mail you the card after submitting the app in which you state you have a military connection,
2) Since you'll then fail to provide military proof, they'll refund you the initial deposit and close your [half opened] account.
3) You'll have a debit card - to a dead account - which is all you need.
Even though I already put on my information that I don't have a connection..?

Something along those lines ;-)

Interesting; however I don't think that you can send money online/pay bills with the temp card.
I also don't think you get access to your online account b4 you do the 4th step, activate your new card

No.not on a temp card.
Yes to the temp card as long as it's registered on line,
Than you set up a pin, and can pull out cash

You don't have to submit military proof in order to submit an application...
So your saying they will still mail me a card with my name on it, without being in the military?
Would this work if I already have an account and answered 'no' to all the questions?
As I need proof, as the location in Baltimore does not rent without proof.
I just did a one way from Park slope to Baltimore, left without an issue, but when I returned it, the guy added the $45 + 20% tax on my contract, bc I didn't have a 'proof'
But later I called the billing department, they gave it back 'this one time' and told me 'next time being proof'
I wanna get proof just to show him that I have it, as other codes anyway come out cheaper

Can you make a ATM withdrawal with temp card? Just tried Wawas in Howell and it didn't work.
Yes, but you first need to activate it on line
And it only works in target ATM without a fee
