The June '08 CPI is 5% higher than June '07, so even the best CD will just stem your losses...

How about you rewrite this in laymans terms? whats CPI and where does inflation come in?!?!

I want to buy a set of luggage for about $1000 -  anyone have any opinions on the best company or deals. I was told by a store that briggs and riley is the best, with a lifetime warranty- but they are very expensive is it worth it? any ideas where to get good deals?

Up In The Air / Re: Cheapest Flights From TLV To Anywhere In Europe

issta.co.il works both ways. Most of the charters however only work for originating in Israel flights. If you do some research and discover the charter websites that work from the states please post as such. You have the classic websites such as kayak.com mobissimo.com cfares.com sta.com studentuniverse.com, but none of these deal with charters.

what is special about all these sites - and whats the benefit of a charter?

I've been trying and trying but cant seem to get anything under $1000 except when I put in the exact trial date that Dan gave. I'm trying to go from JFK to TLV and back from about August 11 until August 27 or 28. I see it worked for you in Feb, but does anyone know if theres any deals around these dates - or am I doing something wrong?? HELP!
