And when I thought that many of the previous contestants were entertaining....season 9, BJ and Tyler...amazing!
Frat Boys vs Hippies!

We went out for shabbos for the first time in 5 months. Coincided with the first cold my kids got in that same time span.
The lack of colds in the home have definitely been a silver lining.

General Discussion / Re: Dan's Tesla Thread
« on: July 05, 2020, 02:58:23 PM »
I just read through this entire thread https://forums.tesla.com/forum/forums/thanks-dan (yea, I'm a little too bored right now.) All I can say is wow! These people really have their heads stuck up their a$$es. That magic 8 ball guy is a real piece of work.
Lol, Dan is now something that forum throws around whenever something goes wrong or when they need something. Lots of fun threads.
It's a terrible forum anyway. TMC is much better (and is where I sold my wheels).

Wow! Crazy! Except... NY, NJ, IL, MI, PA... in the cold? With heater usage? Maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with where those things are used... indoors!

:o mind blown  :o
Yup, clearly it was all the AC in use on Purim in NYC  ::) ::)

I find these statistics highly doubtful if they don't have Israel up there (possibly higher than the US) as a high percentage of households with AC.
I'm shocked to see it's that high. I'd have guessed less than 5% in Brazil.
Still have PTSD of staying by people for shabbos with their windows open when it was in the 90s and the mossies biting the living daylights out of us.

Up In The Air / Did You Break Your Record For Days Grounded?
« on: July 05, 2020, 02:05:19 PM »
Previous record, dating back to when I turned 20: 115 days not in the air due to birth of child #2 in September 2013.
8/30/13 (Trip to FLL to discuss a DD merger)-115 days on ground-12/22/13 (LA Seminar)

Current record: 123 days not in the air due to COVID19 and birth of child #4 in May 2020.
3/4/20 (Babymoon trip to LA)-123 days and counting-??

I was booked to ORD next month, but United just cancelled it  >:(

Credit Cards / Re: New Hyatt CC
« on: July 05, 2020, 11:18:12 AM »
@Dan , based on this article https://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards/hyatt-offering-bonus-elite-qualifying-nights-opening-spending-hyatt-credit-card/

i should now have 61 elite night credits and Globalist for spending $86K by 6/30. But I only got 50 nights and Explorist!

Hyatt says it's Chase's problem. I guess I need your screenshots, can you share them please?
Likely will take a few weeks for the bonus. Have you SMd Chase?

I didnt say it sounded like a war zone, but there was much more than your average July 4th
Sounded pretty typical to me. Almost nothing after 10pm.
