Destination Guides And Trip Planning / Re: Next Vacation - Ideas
« on: February 22, 2021, 05:05:00 PM »
need to be in TLV for new year (2022) and looking in to making it into a ~5 day (total) vacation.

so I'm looking for somewhere "worth" going for 2-3 days with reasonable connections to TLV and NYC and good point resorts/hotels. easier kosher food is a plus of course (im not against bringing food , but I'm assuming there are plenty of great places that can be checked of first)

i have plenty of points but I'm looking at keeping the cash outlay to a minimum (there goes MLE :P).

TIA for any and all help
DXB?

I'm not a fan of the DL A330-900 business class suites. Tight and claustrophobic. I definitely prefer TK (old) and LX business class.
What about vs 77W Polaris?

I was on that flight. No one told me anything. Had to do covid test and was then free to exit.
First thing to do is share that with DDF :D

More TR details please :)

You got it wrong. It says:

NO! Masks no entry!
That's like the person who told me the sign in the Israeli restaurant "Lo Kasher" is meant to be read "Lo! Kasher!"

COVID-19 Discussion Board / Re: Lakewood covid cases
« on: February 21, 2021, 02:30:45 PM »
In less important news, I tested positive for antibodies, though the test does not say a number. I also tested negative for Covid, which is good to see after tested positive last month.

All my kids tested negative for Covid, and only my youngest tested positive for antibodies.

Quarantine week #2 of the year begins, but this time I'm basically on my own. I should be thankful, though, because it could ch"v be worse...
Take an antibody titer test from labcorp?

If we're comparing it to Boca, the food situation in Boca is still abysmal. Hasn't stopped the real estate from blowing up.
Boca may not have high quality places, but they have plenty of places to eat. High quality comes with time and demand.
