Y not just add an additional flight after ur tlv - jfk on another *a partner and just don't show up for it
+1.
EWR-PHL/IAD ought to do the trick.
Just make sure the additional flight is on a different day!
Also be sure to check how much their fuel surcharge is.

Eli, The problem with Matmid are the fees!
Matmid membership fee: $20
Call center fee: $10
Fuel Surcharge from JFK-TLV: $344
Not only will you need to spend $56,000 for a free ticket, but you'll also need to spend another $375 in fees!

A few other things:
-You can go with a stop to TLV for 20,000 Starpoints with FlyingBlue promo awards, but those can be tricky.
-You can currently go nonstop to TLV for 40,000 Starpoints in coach or about 60,000 Starpoints in Business on Delta or Continental via FlyingBlue or Alitalia.
-AA will put you on a nonstop El Al flight without charging any fuel surcharge.  AA also has a Oneworld chart for even cheaper TLV flights with creative routings.  As far as I understand AA offers the same availability on El Al as El Al does to their own members.

Besides for all this the Has card is only good for TLV and you are at El Al's mercy to not charge even higher higher fees.  By banking Starpoints you have 40 airlines (and hundreds of hotels) to choose from, so that your points aren't held hostage by the whims of one airline and you can leverage the best alliance partners rates and fuel surcharges.

I can go further in depth if you'd like but for now it's past my bedtime...

i was thinking to just find someone on an arriving flight who looked like he could use $50...
It would probably work, but like Steve2 said, is it worth the risk?

I didnt say at the Gate. I imagine a person can do OLCI and have their friend purchase a tkt on a different flight and get thru TSA! that way, but lately Ive noticed the GAs looking at the BP before swiping it, is it to make sure that TSA has its stamp on it, I wouldnt want to have a GA question me how I got thru TSA w/o their stamping my BP.

Then again theres not enough $$ involved for someone to put themselves at risk ,IMO. Also you will ned to provide a way for the other person to get back to where they flew from. It might work say if I was heading to CLE and I fly as You and then you continue on from CLE and I will fly back Home after you have flown back to CLE. But the % of something like that working out is slim, so now how do I get back home if I dont want to be in CLE till you return?

So although in Principal it might be workable, its not a real option since of the problems of getting the person flying the 1st leg back home, chance that the GA will spot no TSA marks on the BP, and finding someone to actually be willing to fly the 1st and/or last segments for little or no $$.
I often change my ticket at a kiosk or in the club post-security...not having a stamp has never raised an eyebrow for me.

As long as there are no bags being checked (or there are only bags from the origin and you check them in yourself) and you have a CC to buy a refundable ticket (or have a club membership) to get past TSA there shouldnt be an issue.

Not that I recommend doing any of this...just that it's entirely possible to accomplish.

someone can apply for a credit card with my CP'S number?

I would wager that the answer is yes, but no guarantees.  You can improve your odds if they apply with you as additional cardholder.

20 yrs ago that would have worked, but I havent figured out how to get Adam Katz to fly as Avi Cohen. Now if  someone who looks like you and give them your pic ID then it might work.
I've haven't had to show pic ID at the gate in years...it's not hard at all for that to work.

There is no right answer, Skyteam without Continental is truly a terrible alliance!
You'll have to choose between an airline with overpriced and hard to find mileage rewards (Delta), great mileage prices but extremely high fuel surcharges (AF), or great mileage prices and medium-high fuel surcharges but with an unreliable program (Alitalia)

Good luck!

I think the credit card requirement was added because you posted your deal... lol
My credit is not that great now... so I wont get accepted.
At the time i thought i would wait till i needed a hotel room somewhere, and that would solve the issue.... now its two years later and i am stuck

Find someone with good credit willing to apply with your number in exchange for XXX...

Wow...I made off like a bandit in this deal...good memories.
Why did you wait 2 years before trying to do something?
The credit card requirement was added some time after I posted the deal.
I would open their credit card ASAP to allow yourself to make a mileage transfer if you have no use for their hotels.

Thank you. I set that up and now I'm good. Using YouMail with free call forwarding on 2 lines.
Your welcome!
What does the YouMail do for you?

Title says it all. I need a way to get rid of the 20 cent charge per minute for Sprint's call forwarding, and if you think you have the capability to get this done for me on my account, I'm willing to pay to get it done.

PM me.

Thx.

Corporate accounts can get integrated office for $4/month which includes free call forwarding.
