Crazy cheap business class fares to Israel with air Canada. $1,600. Scattered dates, many in February-March. 1,100 to Switzerland, and many other European countries.

One example.
The example is $4k

Iíve had an aborted landing and the pilot said it was due to a plane still being on the runway. Looked into it and there were a few similar incidences over that month at JFK. Stuff happens ;)

LOL, you should do one for every member, absent or not!

I have the platinum select aa citi card but was thinking of downgrading to avoid the annual fee.  I have a domestic trip in 2 weeks.  does anyone know if the benefit of free checked bag gets immediately removed from my account when I downgrade or whether there is a lag time and I might still benefit from the free bag perk.
I donít know the answer but Iíd assume yes since the status of your AA account will determine the fee at check in. On a side note, are you sure that the annual fee isnít worth it? For myself, just the 10% miles back makes it worth it.

Wow, that is cheap. That's $100 off. How do you go about a tax refund?
Like anything else, meet the minimum total purchase requirement (175.01 Eur over your stay in France), ask the store for the papers that you get stamped on your way out of the country and receive the refund on your card a few weeks later.

What would the savings actually be?
It depends where you'd get it from here. Jet has 100ml for 290 but Neiman Marcus is 435 + tax of course. This store in Paris for example has 100ml for 194 Euros = $193 after change and tax refund.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how to get ahold of this for well below market price. It's $300+ a bottle.
Buy in Europe and get a tax refund. Someone actually asked me on my last trip but the store I went to didn't have 3.3oz.
