Did they blacklist you
I've had to back up multiple times whether for trying to take out a car I wasn't allowed to or not having ID, and have yet to be blacklisted.

Was this the exit booth that denied you or the counter?
Probably gate.

Honeywell
I could give the same data point for JFK. By day, I've used it with no issues, but by night they ask for ID and don't budge.

Data point for national LAX. Just rented twice. First time (4 pm) used a corporate, guy didn't ask. Second time (2 am) lady asked for corporate ID and didn't budge
IME, the night shift is always more of a pain to deal with.

Care to share which codes?

Are you sure it's even hard coded to show up that you have a different car?
IME, yes

Had to go to Williamsburg for whatever reason on Friday.  I picked up some Shabbos food from Gottliebs, wasn't that great.  They are also a restaurant, did anybody ever eat at the restaurant part and enjoy it?
Isn't it the same place? Or were there separate entrances?

Sidenote..You MUST be in the car physically for both rentals upon pickup. You cannot just add AU and let them try to check the car out without you being in it. I'm guessing this is where you went afoul.
That's a rookie mistake.

Were you able to book it and at the reservation they said no or you couldn't book it
Was able to book multiple cars. Picked up 1st car with AU in passenger seat next to me. Checked out at a national location. Drove to a second National location. Picked up second car. First location called and requested to return one of the cars because the rule is you can only get one car.

You must be the exception to the rule, I've had personal experience with unsuccessfully taking out 2 vehicles. I've also heard quite the stories of people who tried circumventing the system by pulling out two cars.

Is it possible to rent two cars under my account at the same time? I plan on making AU on one of them.
Yes.

Unable to rent two cars regardless if there are additional drivers.
