Up In The Air / Re: Qantas FF changes imminent?

Wow. From West Coast to TLV they were already in a league of their own...
I guess they had to beat the only competition out there - themselves!
What do you mean that Y is getting cheaper? Looks like it's staying steady.
I guess you meant that Y is effective immediately (indeed went down) whereas J changes (going up) only go into effect in September.

Ticketed about 30 hours before the flight, but only purchased adult ticket about 5 days out.

If they made you a ghost ticket to book it, and then "attached" it I would advise you keep track and make sure your infant ticket does not disappear after the ghost is cancelled.
Update:
The infant is ticketed.
They (UA) created a separate PNR for the infant.
Then, once ticketed (about 12 hours later), the infant was merged onto the adult PNR.

I tried to get each one to initiate a conference call. Neither would do so, although both said they would gladly talk to the other if called...

Booked international award ticket using SQ miles on UA metal.
Trying to add infant in arms.
United says they cannot do it because they did not issue the ticket.
Singapore says they cannot do it because they have no way to price it.
I have called both airlines multiple times.
My understanding is that SQ needs to issue this infant ticket at 10% of the regular adult fare.
HUCA has so far not helped. I even got the base fare from United and passed on that information to SQ. They still can't seem to book it.
Any advice or experience???

I see 50% bonus from MR to BA Avios.
Is it worth transferring speculatively?

Credit Cards / Re: Barclaycard Aviator (AA)

Received an offer in mail for AA Aviator Business card with 65k sign up bonus for $1k spend and another 10k bonus for first purchase with employee card. $95 annual fee.
Looks like it's a public offer.
And it seems like a high offer for low spend.

No can't be moved
Downgrade/Shift credit with hard pull.
I too have heard that with Citi it's usually a hard pull even to shift credit.

Can you shift from personal to business card with Citi?

What can you downgrade to from Citi Premier with no annual fee (and not waste a future potential bonus)?

Can you move credit from Citi premier to Citi Aadvantage *business*? If yes will it trigger hard pull?
What are best options to close Citi premier without losing credit limit?
