Which hotel to stay at in Amman - Grand Hyatt, Le Meridian, Sheraton or IC?
Haven't been, but IC seems to have best reviews/location.  GH best value.
Anyone with experience want to chime in?

As I said. No change fee as long as >21 days from *original* booking date:

This has been my experience as well.  Originally booked 6-12 months in advance.  Changed dates and have not been charged $75 fee.  Once was changed just a couple days before departure and once day of.

Wondering why certain LH flights don't show up as options from FRA-TLV, depending on which flight it is married to (or if it's standalone).
If I search for FRA-TLV only 9:35pm departure LH694 appears on United.com, but not eg the 10:20am departure LH686.
If I search for JFK-FRA-TLV, ORD-FRA-TLV same story. Regardless of class, all that is available to connect to is LH686.
But if I search IAD-FRA-TLV or IAH-FRA-TLV or SEA-FRA-TLV then ONLY in Y it does show the connection to LH694. In J there IS availability from xx-FRA but it doesn't show any flights if booking through to TLV.  I understand that there are no J seats on LH694, but why wouldn't it show a mixed cabin award, why doesn't it show it as simply FRA-TLV and why does it only show from certain cities, even in Y (I checked connection times and that's not the issue)?
Is this something that I would be able to book over the phone with SQ so long as I see the award on some configurations or am I missing some married segment rules etc?

If your Jewish ID is concealed there is no difference between a Jew and non Jew.

Religious articles in luggage is only a potential issue with authorities if they open your luggage, but they probably won't do anything to you if you're in transit, and the worst thing that can happen is that they will deny entry if try to enter the country.
If plan is to enter country for a couple days, how likely they inspect luggage?

Any reasonably valid concern for religious Jews with religious articles in luggage (not flaunted, but there), entering Amman and spending a couple days there?
Would appreciate input from personal experience versus news articles.

Ding ding ding. Exceeds mpm at JFK (if all segment must be within), although total is within 6.

Wow.  Thank you.  Within 6 miles?
If so, it could work if using Avios TLV-AMM as separate award, right?

Maybe they consider AMM-CAI-AUH backtracking?
IIRC it was originating in AMM, but maybe it was TLV-AMM-CAI-AUH-JFK-PHX-SFO.  Do you think that changes the MPM significantly? Really baffled how agent only mentioned MPM.

Not sure, but I would venture that you may have an issue with TLV-DOH or TLV-AUH on RJ&QR or RJ&EY respectively.

Of course. But when your itinerary is holding at just AMM-CAI-AUH, the origin and destination and therefore MPM would be different, than if your itinerary was holding at SFO-PHX-JFK.

Of course.  Those are entirely different itineraries.  Apples and oranges.
Point being?

You sure the issue was MPM and not that it isn't a published routing (is that a requirement for AA?)

Now I'm beginning to think DROPR.  Maybe the agent was getting fed up with all my options and just kept using MPM as an excuse.  Or was just clueless as to why it was turning into 2 awards.

How do you explain AA allowing TLV-AMM-BAH-DOH-DXB-MEL-SYD-CNS on RJ, GF, QR, and QF? All of those publish fares to MEL so it's ok? (If you tell me they publish fares from TLV to CNS, there would never be a case where airlines didn't publish fares ).
It's considered a oneworld award.  All you need to qualify is for DXB-MEL to be a published fare.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure that it does have to do with the beginning and the end because MPM is calculated from the beginning of the itinerary to the end. Also, I'm pretty sure that the MPM between AUH and SFO for example is the same regardless of what flights are on your itinerary in between.
Itinerary meaning origin and destination.  But you can switch them back and forth (AUH-SFO or SFO-AUH) and you should have the same MPM.  No?

How about 3 region rule? Wouldn't CAI be africa?
AA considers Egypt as Middle East.
