Wow I am shocked that someone managed to put out a full TR in one go.... keep it up!

I didn't put it together in 1 go, I just posted it in 1 go. I just can't stand the suspense of someone starting a TR and never finishing! Serials i can handle because at least I know that there is an ending

or that for some reason IRS gave $1200 to minors on SSI, because there are 2 minors in the house

ok. clearly it was this. im not complaining, but for some reason 2 kids under 18 got $1200, and that's what threw me off. did i miss something in the news? maybe SSA (survivors) get a full 1200 even for kids? whats weird is that the IRS clearly didnt check the tax returns, because these kids are both dependents. also a 3rd kid (age 19) also got $1200. whats strange is, that the first 2 payments were DD. the 19 year old got a check addressed to mother: **** for the care of:****(the 19 year old). this was my proof that it obviously has something to do with the social security office. while they dont mind the extra cash, i am very confused whats going on here, and would like some clarity. If anyone has a better understanding whats going on here, please explain it to me. thanks

The $600 is contingent on there being at least $1 in UI benefits.

i understand. and thats why im asking if quitting the 2nd job will disqualify them totally for UI.

The jobs were simultaneous, or consecutive?

simultaneous. its a very interesting question, because theoretically they are "eligibe" for UI on a PBR, but since the PBR is lower than current paycheck you dont qualify. but technically for the $600 it should be enough

afaf. lost 1 job and applied for UI. was denied because current paycheck is higher than partial benefit rate. if they quit that 2nd job, will they then be eligible for UI? (mainly to qualify for the $600, i understand that they probably wont be eligible for the UI of the 2nd job because they quit and werent fired)

a few people filed returns with his bank info for DD?

no. the only 2 possibilities i can think of are, that originally she got it because she receives SSI, and then the IRS botched and gave twice for the 2 heads of household in most recent return. or that for some reason IRS gave $1200 to minors on SSI, because there are 2 minors in the house

afaf. got 1 DD around a month ago for $1200. last week received 2 more DD for $1200 each. any possible explanation for that?
