I'm going cold turkey. After so many years, the place is just too addictive.+1 it woked for a year and a half for me. we'll see how long it lasts this time
Not a good shcita? Or no mesorah for the gid? Big difference.
many Don't eat that.as long as the ashkenazi relies on the sephardis hechsher, he can also rely on his mesora
And in regards to lechem bassar, a lot of their meats are not a good shcitah for most askinazim, so be careful when you go there, know what you could get and what not.
R moshe has a tsuva on this YD2 42
Thanks, I'll let him know. Any idea how long it should take? Will they accept stubs, his 2018 incomeis significantlymore than 2017.not sure. its probably easier to max out your credit line for a few months in a row, and then they usually raise the CLI by themselves
Question re travel redemptions on CSR - Does it make sense that it comes out cheaper to use UR points for a paid stay at a category 7 Marriot rather than transferring 60k UR into 60k Marriot points? The cost of the night is $639 which I believe would amount to 42,600UR. IS THIS CORRECT?yes it can be cheaper. cash rate varies depending on season. rewards are flat rate. no brainer to book with CSR direct
Please let me know if this question belongs in a different thread. TIA
Would they honor the third party's guest status if the account used to book it is Platinum, and the guest staying is Gold, for example?sure. they honor status, just not "phantom" status
For those wondering (as I was), it seems like you need to go to ATL to get this.

looks like you have to go to ATL for that...
Friend tried to do a CLI on Amex card and got FR'ed. Is this usual behavior? Hadn't used the card in 2-3 months and only 10K limit.are you sure its an FR? because sometimes they ask for the 4506T just for the purpose of determining if you are eligible for a CLI
A typical CP will last through the end of the year it's earned, and the next. This one only lasts through this year. You can only receive a bonus on SW cards once every 24 months, so this would ruin your chances of getting any bonuses for the next 24 months, but it expires in less than 12. It obviously depends on the circumstances, but that's the jist of it.being that he already applied, its not bad at all. get CP now, and if he wants to continue for 2020 get the 60k biz offer.
I am currently staying here and bought somebody’s free nights who is platinum. Upon checkin they told me that unless the person who is platinum member shows up to the hotel I won’t get any platinum benefits (i.e. room upgrade, free breakfast, 4pm late checkout).at the SRBH it is. they know the shtick...
I didn’t put up a fight but is that accurate?
I am concerned about the buyer not showing. I have no control over that. Typically if you don't show up you get charged. So I am trying to understand the maximum downside. If they don't show up, my CC will get charged for nights stay. Right? So lets say I sell the cert for $500 and then the buyer never shows up and the hotel charges my CC $300 for the firsts night stay. Right? Is this something that is possible? Or do you guys have the buyer provide his/her CC when you make the booking?wouldn't you get "charged" the cert? (as in, forfeit the cert). same like a points booking, or it works differently?
-1only because it was moved to on the road. as a destination, it wouldnt have survived
