When I try to book with Miles on Delta (or miles + cash to make up for the miles I don't have in my account) - I see this - it says nonrefundable...

Am I booking it wrong? Wrong type of ticket?
I think thatís  the normal ticket rule. Not considering the COVID-19 waiver

Just booked UA basic economy tickets on a different cc by mistake, and I want to get free luggage that comes with my United CC. How can I switch? I'm still eligible for free changes on the ticket and it's showing as same price.
If youíre within 24 hours, cancel and rebook

I am going to see if I can change the flight to my name without fees
Impossible to make name changes.
You can try switching to an earlier date which will more likely get cancelled.

Of course this happens 48 hours after I buy my son a ticket. Spoke to chase (bought it with miles) - they told me that I can get an El-Al travel credit for my Son or pay the 270 cancellation fee.

Are those travel credits not transferable? Should I wait this out?
Wait till his flight is officially cancelled and get a full refund

new code, 051C0007

I'm not able to use it, keeps saying "RATE QUALIFIER CHANGED - MUST REACCESS RATE"

Getting the same error. Any way to fix it?

If you have no travel plans, I donít see why you shouldnít just renew by mail now.
Then you wont have the Passport the next few months
Question is if he prefers not having it now for a few months with no travel plans and it expires in a month anyway or having to wait a few weeks when he may have travel plans.

As I stated earlier,  it says that taxes are excluded only at some hotels even in the same city or country.  Look at tel aviv and also cyprus.  It is not across the board, which doesn't make sense.  It would also make a big difference between a 2 e. City tax in a European city compared to 17 % vat in Israel for Israeli citizens.  Anyone know whatís going on.
Iíve seen that in award bookings too. If the tax is a flat rate, like city taxes in Europe, they will charge you. When it comes to percentage based taxes, they canít charge anything because thereís no cash price. Itís probably a generic note that comes up on all reservations.
Same with free car rentals in the US. You pay the flat fee state taxes, but not sales tax.
From my experience, I wasnít charged VAT in Israel on IHG reward bookings. (CP Haifa)

Question for the TAs.  ;)

Looking at potential flights to Crete in August.
On Aug 6th, for e.g, OTA only show me 2 direct flights, on BlueBird.

However when you look at the take off schedule at Ben Gurion that day, there are 10 direct flights, including LY, A3, IZ.

Is it stam the airlines holding the departure slots just in case things open up?
Itís likely charter flights that canít be purchased on regular OTAs. You can try Israeli OTAs, like gulliver.co.il or easygo.co.il to try to book those.

I recently got the rewards+ card 15k sign up bonus. Do I have to wait 2 years to get the premier 60k bonus?
