Up In The Air / Re: Pricing tactic for business travelers
« on: October 31, 2019, 04:37:49 PM »
If youíre thinking of that already, why are transatlantic one way flights sometimes more then a round trip??
And why are flights originating in Israel cheaper then from the US?

Why is it legal for airlines to increase the price for flights that are round-trip in the same week.

The same flights when staying a weekend are often up to half price.

Thoughts?
The obvious solution (based on your other thread) is, when you need to fly more then once, book one ticket originating here and returning at the end of the 2nd trip, and another originating in TLV and returning for your 2nd trip.

Question was shouldn't this be illegal in some way?

I mean they are selling the same items for different prices based on profiling people for what they can afford.

May I ask how you got enough miles for multiple tickets using UA card? I just signed up with a 40k bonus, which is good enough for only 2 x 1 tickets.
Who needs to spend on a UA card? You can transfer from chase!

Credit Cards / Re: new delta offer for gold and platinum amex(i think so)

Some say spending on other amex cards will remove the amex msg when signing up. YMMV
I donít have any other Amex cards. All I had was the SPG that I closed.

Iím trying to apply for the 60k offer, and the website tells me Iím ineligible for the sign up bonus. I never had a delta card in the past. My only history with Amex is a SPG card I closed 2 years ago. Anything I can do about this?

Flight 7195 is from Barcelona to Newark.
But then again, this is YWN
Article says they didn't have visas to deplane.
Who can get into Israel/US that needs a visa for BCN?
I also doubt there were "Hundreds of Jews" connecting. The flight from Israel is narrow body, and probably at least half weren't connecting to NY

Same city like NYC so all airport should be connected.
True, but since they charge per leg, once you change the flight they'll double the price

On The Road / Re: Timeshare Promotions
« on: September 19, 2019, 11:24:48 PM »

RCI is one of the 2 companies that control most ( if not all ) of the Timeshares.

However be advised that many companies "claim" to be the RCI but really are some Mexican companies that may not be around in a few months
Thanks. Are you saying it's a scam? They had all the information about my Hilton stay. The email I got was from Pro Vacations, a travel agency based in Orlando

I recently got the 200$ Hilton timeshare promotion package posted on DDMS. We stayed at the Hilton Bonnet Creek and it was great. We also got 150$ park credits and 100$ for a future Hilton stay.
Today I got a call from RCI who are part of Hilton's timeshare program, offering me a 4 night package in the Villa del palmar, Cancun, for 649$. After some negotiating, they gave it to me for 449$. It's good for 30 months with no blackout dates.
Is this a good deal? Does anyone have experience with them? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
