I believe they paused mileage expiration for now, as well.

Assuming they'll still be in business.
Lot is government owned, so they have a better chance of staying in business

Can the process be started the regular way and then if it looks like it won't be ready on-time reach out to rushmypassport?
Donít think so.
There are different offices that deal with regular applications vs. expedited applications.

Credit Cards / Re: Chase Reconsideration
« on: April 27, 2020, 09:21:40 AM »
I just applied for the United biz card with the 100k bonus.  Got denied saying that I don't have a deposit account or investment account balances with them.  Haven't gotten the letter yet - I called reconsideration and that's what they said.  Is there anything to do with that besides opening an account with them?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Same here for Ink cash. Looks like theyíre closing the loop.

LOT Polish Airlines is not charging a fare difference to change from cancelled flights. They have very cheap tickets for the next few weeks which will almost definitely get cancelled. You can then change to Sukkos/New Years or any high season in the next 2 years for free! If the flight doesnít get cancelled, you can always change the date but youíll have to pay the fare difference. May be worth the risk in some cases.
I was thinking of doing it last week because they were selling tickets for early May, but now they cancelled flights till the 15th. Not sure what the cancellation chances are after that.

Looking to book NYC-TLV in Feb '21. Plenty of saver award seats in biz available on United. I have many Citi TYP, and Amex MR. Which program would be the best to transfer the points to to book?
Just in case something goes wrong and I will need to change/ cancel the tickets, I'd rather avoid airlines that a) are on verge of bankruptcy, and b) airlines which are very difficult with changes even in special situations.
TYIA
Cheapest is TYP transferred to Turkish

I also got a follow up email today. The amounts on the voucher donít make sense. They put the same amount for adults and lap infants. Also, Chase told me I would get a full refund, but I canít figure out how to check if I actually got it because the chase  website only shows 3 months of points activity and I booked the ticket in November.
Does it make sense that Chase refunded all the points for my canceled TAP flight, but the airline still sees the ticket as active?

Wouldn't it show up as new activity? Added points marked "refund".
No. When chase refund points, it shows on the original booking date as -0 points.

Really wonder how this will unfold
IMHO LY is 'too big to fail' and the government is likely keen on having an airline it can rely on when necessary.. but the unions are aware of this, especially the pilots.
LYs claim was always that they continue flying to Israel when no one else does. They just disproved that by leaving United the only scheduled airline flying to IL

I got the same. I think the ticket number is your voucher

Got the follow up email an hour after I posted this. I think I now have enough information to dive in and try to change the credit to a refund.
Good luck.
What airline?

Chase sent me an email on 4/2 saying they had issued an airline credit for my flight. They went on to say, "All the details of your airline credit, such as traveler name, amount, and expiration date, will be emailed to you in a confirmation email that you will receive soon." I haven't received the follow up email. Has anyone in a similar situation received one?
I got the same. I think the ticket number is your voucher
