Did air Canada suspend flights to TLV?
Donít think so. They only fly a few times a week.

I find Google flights to be the best.
I found GF good in the US. Ex-TLV I prefer Expedia/Kayak

Iím flying into Denver (a couple with 2 infants) and want to spend the most time as possible in the mountains. Whatís the best area to use as a base for day trips? Preferably with IHG or Hilton hotels.

Pickup location:Jacksonville, FL (anywhere in the city)
Drop Off location:Same
Pickup date & time: 6/21-22
Drop Off Date & Time: 7/30
(Can be split into 2 reservations if cheaper. I donít need the car for the week of 7/11-7/18, but Iím assuming a whole month is cheaper than 3.5 week)
Preferred Car Size: 15 seater van
Age (if under 25):
Bump

Anyone?
Theyíre offering free cancellations on awards, so you can book a random ticket (MEL-SYD) and then cancel it to extend your mileage expiration.
You can cancel till 2/28/22, so Iíd do it as late as possible to extend your expiration.

68
Nope.
Have they even been giving refunds when they cancel flights?
I had tickets with them booked with Chase points for March 2020 that were canceled. Chase refunded the points after several calls. A few weeks later, TAP emailed me a link to claim my voucher so Iím definitely not complaining :).
Officially theyíre offering refunds for flights they cancel, but donít have personal experience with that.

Needs lots of disclaimers on this one.
Definitely. Also includes an overnight stopover in LIS and not sure if theyíre letting anyone in.
But if anyone is booking this, I have $1000+ vouchers at 75%... ;)

Iím looking at travel insurance policies for a trip to Israel I booked with chase points. What do I put down as trip value? The value of the points? Or the cash value of any non-refundable fees?
Tickets booked with chase points are not mileage tickets.
Youíd put the cash price of the ticket.

This one makes things a bit tougher.
Correct.
Though if someone is transferring points to book with a *A airline anyway, it can be worthwhile to use SQ even if theyíre more expensive in order to get the gold status.

I just booked
ORD - JFK on DL using DL miles. Basic Economy - Arrives in JFK at 9:55 AM
JFK - LHR on VS using VS miles. Classic Economy - Departs JFK same day at 7PM.

Is there a way to marry these 2 segments so that:
1) I can get free checked luggage on the ORD - JFK segment,
2) I can check luggage straight from ORD to LHR
3) If the answer to no. 2 is negative, will I be able to check my luggage to LHR upon arrival in JFK in the morning?
4) Would rebooking segment 1 as a regular economy ticket make any difference to any of the above?
1) No
2) You can check the bag straight to LHR without marrying the segments. Just ask them at check in at ORD.
3) n/a
4) No

Whats the deal with flying JFK- -TLV with a stop in London?

Permits, COVID-Tests etc..?
No permit needed, Covid test required, but youíll need one to get to Israel anyway.

Yes, the media reported Israel is working out a scheme. It was promised to Greece in reciprocation for Greece accepting Israelis, and a similar deal is being ironed out with the UAE. The main holdup appears to be a debate in Israel whether to accept Chinese & Russian vaccines.
I have a friend who wants to go to Israel in the next few weeks. Heís Israeli and is okay with getting vaccinated in thatíll allow him to skip quarantine. Anyone have information on that? Howís the current quarantine enforcement going?
