What kind of lowlifes are you all dealing with? If I buy 100k in GC's I pay the guy 100k. If I sell 100k in GC's I expect 100k. What is so hard to understand?
Yes that's the sad part there's many lowlifes out there.
But yes if I was selling to CV I wouldn't need the extra step and do business like a man $1 for $1 and $1.3B for $1.3B.

if you agree to buy something for $100 then you need to get $100 to the seller.
So you can understand, I have an S9 and I sold it to Countvalentine and guess what I have such a good reputation here on DDF and I managed to succumb CV to buy my heap of junk, it's slow and crashes randomly, and is jail broken, a total price of garbage, now I repair it enough that it should last for 4 months and then bam.
Or any example, my example is horrible but the concept is here.
Should the sale go south what's to go back at? Come with a rifle and blow the guys brains out?
Or if you spent an extra $10 for a $1000 Sale guess what your covered for x amount of time for your purchase.
Like using your CC vs paying cash, and should you have problems, should you want to return an item and the owner says no returns even though the receipt says clearly we except all unopened items within 7 days of purchase, so now what can you do if the store owner is being an ***!! where to turn to?
Oh I should have used my amex gold card and showed the guy who's boss, by filing a return protection claim or if in fact the item is defective , your money back from amex which will pull from the store.
So we can call it an insurance on the item or product your looking to buy, or a simple case where im buying a ticket for a Blue Jays game for tomorrow night and guess what you sell me some fake peice of paper and now what ? It's a new DDF member and never going to see that guy again, but if you used PayPal then they can be your middle guy and talk to them as they have the money or can access the money.
Same with using myi as the middle guy, now I'll charge you 2% for the deal for my time and patience and now when the other buyer says CV sold me a great product and received it intact, I can release the funds , and pocket the 2% for my time and work involved!

2 boxes a week. Will be done in four months and save $120.
So in simple math we would call that a $1 A day saved! 😊

You can send $$ through PP without fees if its from your bank account and not CC.
Correct but then you wouldn't be covered for a deal that went South.

He probably meant buying 2 is not a deal, as it is not discounted from the price of 1.
Not probably, making a joke that one for x and two for 2 x X.
Just write I have two Avlb and each one at $125...

I assume that if no one wanted to buy it at my cost it’s ok for me to sell it below cost.... right? So I’m allowed to lose $ on it but not make according to you
You can do what ever you like, just because there are those that woke up now too bad on them, you snooze you loose.
Yes theoretically speaking don't know if they want people buying and flipping at a profit. Vs by Agudah it's all going towards AIOA (Agudah Israel of America).
They very well knew that many people will be buying to resell and hard to prevent such acts, many bought for family and siblings and ....
Definitely some money to made here should one have bought hundreds of tickets for resale.
Good luck on all you 300 ticket sales!

If things are being sold above face, shouldn't it be in the goods for sale board?
Yes someone already created such a thread, but in the context of the thread people went and offered their tickets for sale.

Then how come we didn't hear yet from any shul stating that? It's not like they are trying to keep it a secret from their members.

cuz no one has a ticket in hand yet.
Selling something they don't own yet.

The fact is that you ate the chicken. If they have a price for buying a container of rice that size then the remainder is attributable to the chicken which you did eat and should have all of the ramifications of having eaten it.
Agree no less, will see what they be price a bucket of rice for.

Okay, so how much of the $18 is attributable to the rice?
It's like ordering a burger and they mistakenly forget to put the inside , meaning the lettuce and tomato, dressing and all. So yes you got the Berger but boy was it nasty eating it plain, same over here I enjoy ordering chicken and a side and use the side together with the main, like ketchup and french fries is ainoy domeh to fries and ketchup with fries and w/o ketchup.

So kind of hard to make up a price.

But I'm asking this question, primarily because I felt a bit guilty eating a meal and getting a refund for it.

True, but a Leiter sukkah is much easier to work with.
Well said, nice looking panels and coated to protect from the rain, as well ,it's made super easy to snap the suckah together and remove.

People keep saying that, but why would shuls have bought chunks? They introduced a system this time where each group gets a code. That was everyone can still buy on their own, but still be seated with their group (based on the code). That removes the need to buy for the whole shul group at the same time.
For all those who don't have internet or to lazy to order right away, you always have those, and any big shul which wants all the mispallim together bought 100 or 200-400 tickets and will flip what ever they don't use.
Just wait it out until the tickets are shipped out.
