General Discussion / Re: Looking for Speaker recommendations
« on: February 19, 2019, 02:28:39 PM »
Not me. Probably because I'm also in the market for speakers and it's been on my mind :)

On that note, any recommendations for under-cabinet speakers for a kitchen?
I have the Sony Under counter radio comes with, radio, cd, and aux.
Great sound, and is located directly under my kitchen cabinets, I can get a pic if interested later.

I like my UE boom2 has great sound and goes really loud
Has a port for AUX
Usually about $100
Have 4 Open UE Boom2's really amazing speaker love them, has aux and Bluetooth and amazing battery life, and not to mention I pull it in the shower sometimes.
They can all be paired together very easy, and clear crisp loud sound!

Have another red closed one which I can sell for $80 if interested!

Thanks.I was going to give you a like, but noticed your likes are at 747, my favorite plane, I thought to leave there :)
Lol, I thought you liked the 777.
   Or "770" Chabad kingdom

I guess you got to keep those likes coming to reach one of those! ;)
Not a chabadnik, but I thought that 770 would be better for this site so I gave him a like.
Then I guess you got to continue giving until we hit 770, what a teaser to keep me at 748..

Up In The Air / Re: Parking at LGA
« on: February 18, 2019, 02:00:46 PM »
Tried searching this thread, I couldn't find anything recent. What is the best option for parking at LGA terminal A? Is street parking the best? I tried looking on Google Maps and couldn't figure out where the entrance to the Terminal is and how far the closest street parking is. I don't mind paying a few dollars for an Uber to get to the terminal. On a related note, how bad is traffic near LGA these days? Still terribly bottlenecked because of the construction?  The flight is around 7:30pm. Is that a peak time?

Sorry for the whole laundry list of questions.

Thanks!
If your not going for more then a week then yes street parking is a good idea and call an uber for a few $ to get to the terminal.
Yes give yourself some extra time to find a spot and to wait for the uber and to get back to the terminal.

Goods For Sale/Trade / Re: Global entry application fee for sale
« on: February 18, 2019, 01:53:32 PM »
by all u mean tsa pre and ge?
Yup, Only $50.
But with the GE/TSA PRE you can use your cc to cover, while nexus need to pay out of pocket!
(Also nexus can only be gotten at one of the candian border crossings.)

+ Is the Nexus fee covered by the CCs covering GE?
No, people have tried in the past using the GE credit to cover for the $50 nexus and claim it's only half so fissure they would offer it. Really YMMV when you call to dispute that $50 charge!
