On The Road / Re: Hotel Compensation Master Thread
« on: Yesterday at 11:21:30 PM »
Had some issues with a (Points and money) stay at a Marriott hotel, so the Manager gave me back most of my points plus refunded me the $$ I paid. I noticed that on Marriot I didn't recieve any nights credits for that stay, is that because the $$ was refunded? (not al the points)
More likely because of IT issues. It may take you a few months and chasing reps until it gets credited.

Please move this to the YWN coffee room.

I Had this convo with one of my LOR's me: I bought an expensive coffee machine that will possibly break by toiveling, can I just sell it to the janitor in the building for 5 bucks and he'll allow me to use it? LOR: Nah we don't do these tricks, where did you buy it? Me: Walmart LOR: In that case just toivel it try your luck if it breaks just return it.... That was the last sheila I asked him
Ouch, ouch, ouch. Did you answer him that we don't do those tricks?

A gerrer Chusid, I'm not going to post his name here.
That's understandable.

You wouldn't be afraid to take a random person's suitcase? No one is looking for trouble.

And now the goboim are preventing the gerrer rebbi from coming to BP, They dont want him to see whats going on there.
Source? Not disputing that, just curious.

Not sure who gave you your information. If, for example, if your selected airline is UA, and you book through United, and one way is with a *A airline that codeshares with them you should get back 35%, since the charge will show up as United for both ways, but definitely not in the case you mentioned.

Thanks! Surprisingly, I was targeted, too! Never flew with AA at all, as far as I can remember. I did have the account open for a few years, and have some flights credited to the business extra account.

Same guy and still no answer.
It was answered a number of months ago in this very thread, with a lot of input from DDFers.

Are the renovations completed already?

Right, this advice was literally given a page ago
I'm assuming this was booked at least a few weeks, if not months, prior to that.
