Pro tip call hotel and ask if there are any Jewish names on the reservations YMMV

Sounds like a funny conversation even for a pro:)

If you would eliminate the hall, music, photographer, flowers, caterer.... a lot more people would be able to afford it. Not everyone.

Afford what? You just eliminated the whole thing...

In general protests are dumb, but this cause really affects hundreds of millions of people, not to mention significant parts of the world economy.

In the 20th century alone big government has murdered 100's of millions of people... The right to protest against your government is essential to democracy and it works (at times, to a degree)

Just curious, if your not on the left, why would someone be anti bibi?
Isnít it obvious that heís close with Trump and that been very beneficial for Israel? Why not just keep him there till Trumps gone? Is it because of all the lawsuits against him? Is t cuz other politicians are power hungry and want their chance in the spot light?

Switch these two words around and you got it.

Not necessarily. One might not be eligible for a payout from Areivim even if he participated for years. Many view Areivim as a way to give צדקה.

That wasnt the pitch I was given. Can you elaborate?

similar concept to areivim
I was thinking that. However with Areivim you are part of the pool and receive a payout (if CV"S....). With this the people contributing are not necessarily the ones receiving the grant for the simcha.

I don't want to start a flame war, but well done defrauding the Israeli government, chuchem. Can we guess how many issurim that entails?

Let's start
1. דינא דלמלכותא דינא
2. מדבר שקר תרחק (twice, if i understand correctly)
3. got kids? then you're also עובר on חינוך
4. there are probably a whole bunch more because it's the Israeli (Jewish) government...

I'm as much for getting a good deal as the next guy, but that's really ridiculous...

As for taking the car out of the country, i was told that the car has to leave the country by sea, so taba/jordan is not an option, gotta put it on the ferry to cyprus...but that information might be out of date.

Your understanding of Judaism and Halacha is elementary at best.

We bought a ZOE and after a short while it wouldn't open or close correctly. The lock-in mechanism was not clicking in either position.  I submitted a warranty claim and they sent another one with no questions asked almost like they knew of the defect and expecting me to reach out. They also told me to send them an image of the other one destroyed.

It collapsed on my son a few times. Has this happened to anyone?

What is the definitions of mixed emotions? Your MIL driving off a cliff with your new Cadillac. Also moving to Israel (where you have no cadillac, just overcrowded public transportation)

Is it Eretz Yisroel or Israel? sigh.

As a preface I did 3 years of IDF and my parents live there I was spent my teens and ealry 20s there and developed some horrible habits during that time.

My main reasons are a little personal but...

1. Terrible pop culture
2. Yiddishkeit is so extreme in a very strange way. Very different from America.
3. Chinuch (kids going off)
4. Inconvenient/ schleppy lifestyle
