I also don't get it. If acct is globalist already what makes it worth paying 20$ a night ?  For the tier bonus ?

Hyatt lowered 2022 requal requirements to half (30 vs 60). And they are giving double night credits for all stays before Feb 28. So essentially people can requal through Feb 2023 by staying 15 nights by Feb 28.

But offering 20% subsidy seems a bit outrageous. I don’t see the logic or the math behind it.

FYI, I'll match the $40/night offer in this thread. I'm also upping my 15% subsidy offer to 20%.

I don’t get it. Just book a Cat 1 for 4250-3750 points per night and get your stay credit. Why the need for all these crazy subsidies?

Note to others: If you post wanting to Buy .. and you can’t even bother posting a price (per forum rules) .. then at least have the decency to reply to those who spend the time reaching out to you. I go out of my way to answer PMs when I initiate a buy/sell request .. I thought that was common courtesy .. maybe it’s just me.

Does anyone have any experience  with booking a in the Hyatt ziva with point and being able to get a room in the turquoise tower? When I emailed my Concierage and the hotel that told me no.

Email the hotel directly. They are responsive.

If you have status .. they are good with upgrades if their occupancy allows it.

If it’s a deal breaker .. ask for their paid upgrade rate chart and do it that way. You can usually do a paid upgrade for cheaper at check-in (if available) but again .. if it’s a deal breaker .. then have it squared away ahead of time.

Dan, I get what you are saying, but who exactly was whining?

Myself and another member only asked about it. Neither of us said anything like ‘it should have been done already’ ... ‘what’s taking so long’ ! It was a datapoint question.

Should we also stop asking if one’s SUB has been deposited because the bank’s TOC says ‘can take up-to 120 days after meeting the requirements’? 🤷🏼‍♂️

It was very clear when the new status would reflect.

Sure, but more often than not, we have seen progress / completion before the 'due by' dates in these situations. No harm in asking if JetBlue may have started working on it.
