Bump. Anyone use them at JFK recently?

What issue could one possibly have? If you are able to successfully reserve your weeks using the PC/CDP and donít mind driving to JFK every week...not sure what the issues would be.

Yes I spoke with the seller. He recommended that I ignore Hertz. I have too many future rentals already booked and have a good deal with them being on the friends and family program. Hertz indicated that it was Millennium Realty vouchers that were being investigated for abuse and since I used 2 of them they wanted to know the source. I do not know if they have any other voucher source companies flagged or not. Not trying to cause anyone problems, just sharing a data point

I do know of one seller here who has sold Millenium Realty vouchers.

Not sure if other sellers have also sold them or how it works with where these vouchers come from.

DP - Used vouchers purchased here for 2 different day rentals in Florida and I received an account review letter from Hertz about fraudulent vouchers from Millennium Realty. Requested verification of where I got them from. Told them they were a gift from a client and they wanted client contact info. Ended up paying for the two days to quell the investigation and not lose hertz renting privileges.

Who was the seller?

I have someone that sells me spg points for 1.9 cents each that's 180k for $3420 and for that you can get 540k Marriott and you can get a 7 night tier 4-5 certificate plus 120k miles and Alaska miles are worth at least 1.5 cents a piece so that's $1800 for Alaska so $3420 - $1800 = $1620 hence my offer of $1650 just for certificate.

You are missing the point.

270k Marriott will get that person the same 120k AS. And he can sell his 7nt Cat 1-5 for $350!!

And so on top that, why would anyone spend another 270K Marriott for a lousy $1270? (by your calculations [$1620 -$350 for Cat1-5 Cert])

It makes no sense for the seller. For you itíd be a sweetheart deal, sure.

Youíre looking at this only from your POV. Thereís nothing in it for the seller.

I know but that person gets 120,000 miles

Itís not gonna happen @ that price.

Now for the right price, someone here may agree to go through the trouble and upgrade their Cat 1-5 cert for you, which requires an additional 270K Marriott to get to RC Tier 5. IMO that *right* price starts at $2,100 ... if not slightly more.

Perhaps itís some sort internal risk management analysis. Maybe they have determined that those with permanent ties to another country are more likely to default or choose to forego repaying their debts.

Make a reservation, ask them to make someone else the primary and give that person's Hyatt number. The reservation will then appear on that person's account. Pretty sure if you cancel though, the SUNs go back to the original account

Most sellers here wonít go through the trouble unless a buyer wants to offer a considerable premium. Why would I butt heads with Hyatt and possibly make the agent suspicious when I can sell to someone simpler for the same price?

How long does it take to get the 10% rebate back on award tickets?

Usually within 24-48 hours after you complete travel.
