I have to get off the current AU I'm on and am looking for a new CC to start with. With a credit score of a little more than 700 and I plan on spending a large amount, what card do you suppose i get?

Pass your driving test.  It will convert to a driver's license.
Obviously if that was an option I would do it. Unfortunately I can't right now, and I don't know how long it'll be untill I could.

I was upset at USPS but it's actually the Department of State in NY I'm upset with. A Non Drivers ID, or a license works as ID to get a passport, but NOT a Permit! When I askes why, I was told "because it says so". WTH?! A permit is the same exact thing as an ID, but allows the holder to drive with a license holding person!
The real reason this is absolutely absurd is that I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER REASON IN THE WORLD THAT I SHOULD OWN ANOTHER FORM OF ID, AND NO CLUE HOW TO GET ONE!!!

General Discussion / Re: Random potential passport issue question

Didn't want to start a new thread, so i'll ask here. I'm trying to help get someone a US passport but he only has a NY permit. When we went to the DMV they said he needs a licence or a state issued ID. I dont understand what is wrong with a permit if its just a more important card than a state issued non drivers ID?!

Im an AU on a CC, and my credit limit is not at the max (the original user limited me to $2k. Does removing that low credit limit make it better for the $2 trick? Should I ask him to remove the limit?

It's only pathetic if it turns out he's lying. You have prejudged based on no information. Patience favors the patient.
Chances are he's right. So being able to say "I told you so" is worth the chance of being wrong.

As I've always wanted to say, read the wiki.
 ;)
It says henche is henche. Is the term henche within impossible or is it a whole new meaning on its own?

If you can find a bank that still backdates, yes it works.
In the wiki it says also to open a secure card. Are there any other options? And does TD offer secure CC?

Does backdating an AU for a first time CC user still work at all?
