Deals/Deal Requests / Re: Free Sprint Unlimited plan (for 1 year)

So now we have a use for all the phones from the Google Fi deal? :)
Except the last day for the promotion is April 4th, and unless your phone came really quickly and activated it immediately, April 4th is shy of 120 days by a few days for most people.
And as noted in the Google fi thread you can't have Google fi and Sprint service on phone together.

On SD there's alot of reports of success

For an Amex credit line reallocation is a 7 to 10 day review code for anyting?

To preempt.. the one I'm transferring from is just hitting one yr old and the one I'm transferring to is a few weeks old..

They claim to me that they can’t activate a phone on both networks at once since the IMEI ID cannot be registered with Fi and Sprint at same time. Only way around is to switch Fi plan to another phone every time you want to switch to sprint plan. Or at least that’s what I was told.
This is in regards to the Sprint promo but relevant regardless

4: My phone is/was on Project Fi (Google). What can i do to make it work on this promo?

AFTER removing your phone from Fi (port out or cancel), you have to call them and ask them to deregister the phone or rather make it available for Sprint postpaid use. Because Sprint is part of the Fi network it looks like the phone is already active on there. Takes 24-48 hours to happen once you open a ticket by calling 1-844-TALK-2FI.
Note: When I called, the CSR did not understand when I asked about "deregistering" my phone. Probably the most efficient way to go about this is to explain that you are trying to switch to Sprint and need to be removed from the Project fi list or whatever. My case had to be elevated to a higher up CSR/tech, and after a brief hold, I was told it was taken care of. I was then able to pass go on the sprint IMEI checker.

can this be done now for a 3rd time?

Is there an amount of time the device I activate this on needs to be active or i can immediately swap it out?

How is anyone doing it with sprint? I’ve had issuez

Anyone who uses dual SIM, and not concerned about invalidating the promotion, are you using Sprint? Im wondering if it's different being they use both the imei and sim

With Sterling or the others, how did paying the bill work, they paid it or they sent you a check? Iiuc someone told me of an operation where the place had someone in charge of managing the accounts to make sure they were paid before the due date..

Thanks for the link.

It's too bad this wasn't a panel discussion. I certainly could have helped clarify some of the mileage situations and assumptions discussed in the final hour that may have changed the answers given by the Rabonim.

Clearly he wanted to argue about selling points with me, but it wasn't an argument I wanted to enter, nor was it one that I had to enter as I've never advocated selling points.

Fantastic job!

It's officially a halacha based podcast his spin will always be in that direction. That's definitely why he wanted to talk about selling points. To someone who's not involved, the travel and cash back isn't at all what comes to mind, rather "isn't the whole point to sell the points?"...

Pretty good defending the whole price mistake debate, it's somewhat nuanced and not clear cut. It sounded like he wanted simple straight forward guidelines with reasoning.

In regards to a panel, almost every week it's an issue, depending who he speaks to in what order, he'll bring up arguments that someone made and allow the later person to comment without ever getting a response from the original person..

Was there any part that he edited?

Selling $1000 certificate for 89%

Just checked promo tab, says “Number was ineligible for transfer”!! (Until now it said eligible, just waiting for GC)

Chatted with Rep, said I should’ve gotten it and met all the terms. They are “looking into it” and should wait for email :(

 Anyone else have this?
On one of my phone's is fine and the other I have this issue they are both Google Voice numbers...

does anyone have a screenshot of an email or chat session that says Google Voice numbers are fine? Iirc I have it somewhere but can't seem to find it..
