No clue! I just saw it in the community bulletin
Lol. Sorry . I don't know about any nice eida places to eat. If you like bagels/pasta kind of food then the new bagel brunch in geula might be a good option for you. I think they're eida

Collegegirl.  Stick with mendelsohn's (& the rest if the CB crew) opinion is a general rule here I think. However, if you want clear advice , maybe start off with stating which credit cards you currently have for yourself and then you can be advised which one to ad her as an AU on. (My experience with helping building credit is that I added family on to my old first cap1 & chase cards. TG  I have a  pretty good report from over the years and after about 3-6 months they were either targeted from banks or approved for the easier accepting credit cards)
Good luck

My cousin ended up in the hospital in Thailand and he got reimbursed every penny from Egert & Cohen.
Bh . And so did I get reimbursed every penny ....after a long dragging out of them requiring the same paper work that was sent in multiple times, them not keeping to the deadline of payment to the hospital, doctor and the emergency care...finally I pulled out the the lawyer threat and proof of emails of their commitment to pay by certain time which they didn't , & all was then done bh. I'm not saying thy don't reimburse. What I am saying is that it's a headache . That's my experience. I hope not for others . If E & C is your best choice then go for it. Hopefully it won't be needed l'maaseh and only for hishtadlus. .and c'v if needed , hopefully no headache....safe, happy and healthy trip!

if something happens though and you want the reimbursement , they are impossible to deal with IME . There are other travelers insurance . You can also get straight from your Kupat cholim

What do I do with the money once I send it. Can I transfer it into my bank?
U can transfer it to the bank of the person associated with that account. Have you ever sent money before ?- maybe it would be better for you to just buy gc's.  There are thread discussions here on the various different online ways of sending money
