Credit Cards / Re: Chase Complimentary DashPass

I signed up from chase app in CSR card benefit tab. linked to doordash app, worked perfectly

This didn't work for me, but I was finally able to get it to work normally on a computer. I had to delete my card and add it again.

Credit Cards / Re: PSA: Totalled auto lease can affect your credit score

its showing my overall credit being mixed in with my cc spend and my new loan. so lets say my reg spend is $10k its showing $20k.

Ok but they still don't count them the same. There's no way they count it in your credit utilization.

its stupid that this is the way they report a car lease.

imagine if when you buy a house and have a $500k mortgage show up as reg spending on your credit report. wont be pretty.

shouldnt it be that just the actual monthly payment be reported? and have as a separate category the full loan amount.

this for sure effected my score but i think its hurting more now bec i was doing a large amount of spending recently (pay bills on time, some after closing of statement) plus i opened a few cards recently. my score a few months ago was around 810 now its at 717. think fico 755

I'm pretty sure you have something else going on.

My credit score has never gone down more than a few points due to a new lease.

I just checked my credit report through Chase Credit Journey. My mortgage, car lease, loans, and credit cards are all listed the same way - they all show the outstanding balance as well as the minimum monthly payment.

Also, it is definitely not the same as putting the total amount of the lease on your credit card, because then it would count toward your credit utilization.

I added my Sapphire Preferred card but I see nothing about this promotion.

Anyone know how to get it to work?

The Bialystoker Shul on the Lower East Side has a fancy commercial Keurig machine. It's hooked up to the water supply and it also gets rid of the used k-cups.

At least that's how I remember it. I haven't been there in a while.

Any recommendations?

Tech Talk / Sprint Flex Lease
« on: November 27, 2019, 03:24:58 PM »
I just leased an Iphone 11 from Sprint. It's still in the box, unopened. I just noticed online that you could get a $150 credit on a new lease if you trade in an Iphone 6. I happen to have an Iphone 6 to trade in. I could just return the phone I just leased and then start a new lease together with a trade-in and get the credit, but that's a hassle.

Is there any chance they would just give me the trade-in credit without going through all that?

I know I could just call them, but I'll be on hold for an hour, so I'd rather get some data points first.

If I have a NJ license and I get 11 points within 18 months in NY, will they suspend my driving privileges in NY?

Follow-up question: Can I take defensive driving in NY to avoid suspension?

Sorry, didn't read the whole thread.

Looking to buy or make the cheapest possible 10x20 sukkah.

It's just for 1 year use and then throwing it away basically.

Found this on Amazon for $679 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ILOH9YG/?tag=cl03f-20&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Can I do better?

Also the sukkah is to seat 19 people, does 10x20 sound like the right size?

That looks super flimsy for a 10x20. You might end up throwing it away after 1 day.

Any wood will need to be treated to withstand water.

Any suggestions for this?

Petty similar but typically cheaper and lighter

Does it hold up well in the rain? Do I have to paint it?
