If a Yeshiva calls Pre-K kindergarten (4 years old at the beginning of the school year), will I have any problems claiming the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit for that?

Did you read what the socialist politician said? Can you argue with her point by point on merit?

I skimmed through it, and no, but I disagree with most of the stuff she says.

Based on what I've read, she doesn't have any clear points.

This new Amazon headquarters in LIC, is it good or bad?

They're saying 25,000 new jobs, average salary $150K.

That new socialist politician is saying it's terrible, so I tend to think it's actually a good thing, but I just wanted to get people's thoughts.

What time is the proper time to turn your clock back?

Before you go to sleep

So a sub sandwich would not be a sandwich because the bun is connected? What about a hoagie, not a sandwich?

So if the bun breaks apart it becomes a sandwich?

If the bun breaks apart you're doing it wrong

Is a hotdog a sandwich?

Definitely not, because the bun is still connected.

Losing 30 pounds is by far the best way to go...

I don't understand. You lose 30 pounds then you have no more clothes to wash?

What happens if you cancel?

It is basically disability benefits but for short term things that were not covered previously. Stuff that's nothing to do with a disability.

If I have a choice between one or the other, which is better?

Can someone please explain to me why this is better for me as an employee than disability benefits?

Layman's terms please. Assume I'm ignorant and stupid

Is one half of the outlet hot all the time? The other half is switched?

Just checked and it's not. Good thought though

My guess would be.
White = neutral
Black = hot
Red = switched

The other end of three wire Romex can be feeding another circuit.

Aha. This makes sense.

Ok so I finally got around to looking at the wiring to try and figure out what's going on. In a nutshell: I have no idea what's going on.

I have a lightswitch that controls only one outlet, nothing else (as far as I can tell).

I pulled the switch out of the box, and found the following:

There are two Romex cables coming into the box. One has two wires (black and white) and one has three (black white and red). The two white wires are connected to each other, makes sense. The red wire is connected to the top screw on the switch. BOTH black wires are connected to the bottom screw of the switch. Huh?

The Code Police find you and make you rip it out and fine you.  :)
IMHO in a private there would be no issue.

To the code police, if you're reading this: I'm not the guy that called you yesterday. That was a different guy.
