Credit Cards / Re: Amex Offers Discussion Thread
« on: July 15, 2016, 10:21:35 AM »
Has anyone ever noticed that they get different targeted offers depending on where they log in from?

I just noticed that if I log in on Chrome I only have 20 available offers, but if I go in Incognito mode I have 88

A lot of adults like feeling big and important, completely unaware that what they're projecting is a worthless show, and everyone is looking at them as if they are little children.

Credit Cards / Re: Paying Rent and CC Getting Points

Or you can have RadPad charge your cc directly (for a fee), and avoid the hassle.

Right but that fee (I forget how much it is), is usually more than the value of whatever points you will be gaining. Unless you're going for a signup bonus, it's not worth it.

Also, once you have the Paypal Debit Card set up with RadPad, there is literally no hassle. It just takes the money from your checking account automatically every month.

Get a Paypal Business Debit Mastercard and use it to pay your rent through RadPad. It will take cash straight from your Paypal balance or checking account and you will get 1% cash back like that. If you are able to buy Paypal My Cash cards with a credit card, you can use those to reload your Paypal balance and get even more points/cash back (depending on the credit card you use).

Credit Cards / Re: Spending the Minimum

I don't understand how people apply for cards expecting to get the signup bonus without having a clue as to how they're going to do the spending. Do the research before applying for the card.

You are activating his offer, take away the end of the link and it will not let you activate, it is targeted.

So basically this thread is completely useless?

(Unless he just wanted to brag about his targeted offer without sounding like bragging)

How do I know it was actually activated?

It let me activate without even signing in. How do they know who I am?

Credit Cards / Re: CVS to impose $2,000/day limit as of 10/27/14

Is the purchase fee included in the 2k limit (i.e. can I buy 4 - $500 gcs?)

Not specifically ppmcc however if this can be done in the stores with cc it accomplishes the same thing. Anyone try this?

That would be nice. I wonder if there is a fee

Not sure if this belongs here

I have a lot of money stuck in a PayPal account. They said they need documents showing I actually purchased items that I was selling on eBay. I do not have the receipts . Anyway around it?

This doesn't belong here

weren't you speaking about a backup funding? Y would someone care about backup funding?

He was just explaining how the card works

And your PayPal account can be loaded with PayPal Cash cards, but it is risky.

It's only risky if you use shady methods to liquidate it

Tried buying one from 7 eleven today, transaction seemed to go through but then the cashier got an error, something about the card being expired. On my cc statement it looks like the charge went through and then reversed

Reload cards.

-1. They have some type of debit card you can buy in store. Someone posted a picture earlier. Not sure what they are.

How long does it take for 1% cash back to post?
