Tried the GB Pockit (original), but it was too lightweight, annoying to maneuver (2 handles instead of handlebar), and seat barely reclined (naps).

Switched to the City Tour, much happier overall.
city tour is carryon size?
I use the pockitt happily (you can hold it in the middle between handles)
Kids love it

Is it an overnight stop?
Tell them at the airport, That you really really need it, and they might check it to paris only, where you would pick it up at the baggage claim. It worked for me once, though it was 15 hours overnight. (there is a lot of walking till the baggage claim, be awre

option two: get travel stroller like yo-yo or GB pockit (much cheaper than yo-yo, but more basic)

Credit Cards / Re: Amex avoiding clawback

I understand, But if somebody doesn't want to close the account, They want to downgrade it, The only option is to downgrade before the 2nd AF posts, or else that have to pay part of the AF.
OP's question was about closing...

Amex doesn't make much sense these days.
Anyway, why the rush? You don't pay the annual fee either way...

Do you know if it is normal for amex to code differently than chase?

I,ll leave this to the ones who got retention offers to answer, I got nothing!!

that was my point...
If you are considering closing the card, it is always worth mentioning....

Thanks, not sure what triggers the bonuses and offers, I have not closed any cards in the last 7 years,  and do pretty heavy spend on the Amex cards, and no retention offers on any card.
what do you say to the nice folks at retention?

is a car seat better than the bassinet that the airline can provide?
it's different. Car seat means you pay for another ticket, but are guaranteed a seat for your baby
Bassinet is with 10% infant fare, is subject to availabilty, and might mean more room int he bulkhead

Credit Cards / Re: Credit Card Denied Due to Low Credit Card Usage

They didn't say no relationship, the agent said I have a lot of open credit cards that I don't use, which is true. My question is, should I start closing them and if I do, will my score go down?
what if you just start using each card once a month?

Recently, I applied for a new card and the application was denied although I have a high score due to low credit card usage. I basically use 2 cards although I have open multiple no fee cards that I hardly use. Should I start closing them all or will that lower my score?
this was a letter? recon line? Do you have a cc from the bank you applied to?
