More than I expected from AA

we want to help you reach your goal
We want to help you reach your goal
We understand COVID-19 may have made it difficult for you to complete your elite challenge and we'd like to offer you another opportunity to earn elite status.

When you're ready to travel again, you may register for a new 3-month elite challenge that reflects lower qualification thresholds.

You may register and begin your challenge any time between now and November 1, 2020. Your challenge begins the day you register so we recommend waiting to register until you're ready to travel.

We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to welcoming you onboard soon.

You are why we fly.

Credit Cards / Re: Amex platinum 200 credit upon renewal

I just called and the agent was not helpful so I asked for a supervisor and the supervisor was able to manually apply $200 on my BP and and $50 for my Marriott business card (AF hit in April on Marriott)
Think it will work if they just gave me retention offer?

Also, regarding the family members, I see on the page you linked that you can book for up to "2nd degree family members". Uncle/nephew is ok?
Don't think they have a way of checking relationship if tou fly UA

Also between zrh dub between march 30 apr 4

Aer lingus cancelling dub -lax from mar 30
Change your flight to fly via an alternative Aer Lingus North American Gateway
We will continue to operate a reduced number of flights to / from Dublin and New York (JFK), Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto

This. And obviously Israelis who visited those places as well that are returning.

As for JFK vs. EWR - EWR is generally spoken about as "New York" here.

This is not "fake news," rather more "news in the pipeline waiting to be finalized."
Or shot down by Netanyahu.....
news waiting to be finalized is usually subject to change

Can anyone tell me how to add my Alaska MVP status to my American Airlines reservation I shouldn't need to pay for baggage?

Also where do I credit paid American Airline tickets to what mileage program?
Usually one adds the frequent flyer # of the airline with status to the ticket (tou can do online or call)
Wheretocredit.com
(If you want the bags, but want miles to be credited elsewhere, you need to put alaska on reservation before checkin, then switch at the gate
