50 feet away!!
Is the Conrad of HH offering any compensation for the mental harm they caused you?

If this works I wouldn't be surprised if @Dan got like thousands of dollars in credits.

It works

Last month, City National Bank updated the benefits of their Crystal Visa card to include a $30 credit to GroundLink. I decided to figure out how this all worked, and in doing so, I stumbled across these links:

GroundLink Visa Signature
GroundLink Visa Infinite

Once you enter your Visa Signature/Infinite card details into the corresponding link above, you then log into your GroundLink account, and the respective credit ($20 or $30 depending on card type) will be added to your balance. What I figured out but did not expect is that you can do this for every Visa Signature/Infinite card you have and load them all into the same account. I was able to do this 25 times before I ran out of credit cards and now have over $500 of GroundLink credit. All of my personal Visa Signature and Infinite cards worked (i.e. not business). All authorized user cards worked as long as they had unique card numbers. It did not matter that their cardholder names did not match the name on my GroundLink account.

GroundLink does have a referral program by which both the referrer and referee receive a $25 credit, so you will want to do this too.

$25 referral link:

The terms for these credits seem to indicate various restrictions such as not being to combine credits, having to use the specific credit card that the credit came from, etc., but as far as I can tell, none of this is actually enforced, and I have a single combined GroundLink credit in my account. I tried a test booking of over $100 on the website, and it allowed me to pay for my entire reservation with my credit balance.

For completenessí sake, here is the full list of credit cards that I was able to confirm do work, but Iíd be fairly surprised if anyone finds a personal Visa Signature/Infinite card that doesnít:

Alliant Cashback
Bank of America Premium Rewards
Bank of America Travel Rewards
CapitalOne VentureOne Rewards
Chase Hyatt
Chase Sapphire Preferred
Chase Sapphire Reserve
Citi Costco Anywhere
City National Crystal
Club Carlson Premier Rewards
Fidelity Rewards
Merrill+ Rewards
U.S. Bank Cash+
I tried three business cards that did not work: Chase Ink Cash, Chase Ink Plus, and Club Carlson Business Rewards.

Trying to book hotels for our trip Feb 15-19 but pretty much everything is booked. Considering using Dans minimum length requirement trick for the Andaz Maui  because it shows points availability when I pick Feb 15-25...

Do I have to have enough points for 10 days in my account to do this? Also since there is a 21 day prior to stay cancellation policy will I be SOL if this doesn't work?

Welcoming any advice as to where to stay thats available for our trip!

GHK is sold out for 2 out of the 4 nights of my stay on Kauai. Is it foolish to split with st Regis or am I better off at st regis for whole stay?

GHK was sold out on one of my nights. Decided I would wing it and get them to open up space. Once I became friendly with the customer service there I asked them to confirm there were standard rooms available, which they did. Then I called Hyatt CS and told them that they have confirmed there is standard rooms available why is there no space open to book. Went back and forth and the CSR ended up calling the hotel to ask them to open up space manually which they didnít end up doing for whatever reason. Ended up getting a highly discounted rate of which I canít remember for a memorial weekend night. No sure that helps but thought Iíd share my experience.

any recent data points on getting matched to the 3 night signup bonus after originally applying via the 2 night offer?

Have a couple DP's this week of them not matching...

any reports of problems w buying seat upgrades for $300, do they look at last years credit/ card history?

Yes had someone recently do this and got credited.

I just got my request for extension declined because of lack of activity on my cc, this was over email.

From the Conrad Koh Samui thread on Flyertalk. If itís true, itís pretty cool in general and especially with the new Aspire card, youíd get 14ppd from the card, 20ppd from the stay (if you are diamond) and the $250 resort credit on the card.  Could be another fun little reason to stay there.  :)

ďManufactured Spending Hounds: There is no ATM on-site, rather you can withdraw from the conceirge and they will charge your room or cc. Great way to earn Hilton and cc points.Ē

Wish I knew this about a week or so ago! :(

Where did you end up, in Phuket or Koh Samui?

Koh Samui
I was really debating between Phuket and Krabi. Ended up going to Phuket for less then 10 hours to simply do a phi phi island tour

If you send me the spreadsheet I may find some time to update it.
Looking forward to it!

Will be in SIN for 12 Hours, any recommendations of what to do or should not miss?

Was just there and visited the orchid gardens, marina bay sands & the rooftop view (Bar), Orchard Street (kosher coffee bean which has a great menu) and thatís pretty much all you need to see if I remember correctly. If youíre interested maybe make a trip to the national orchid garden but not something I would go out of the way to see if your pressed on time.

What time of the day is your 12 hour layover?

Yup! Hoping I can pull through with the IP, it would be the cherry on top.
Any update as to whether you got approved for the 3rd card?
