Both DW and I MR accounts are frozen... Mine was fine as of Apr 2 (my last date of transfer). Never do MS or return and close cards on either MR account.

We didn't have platinums in over a year, but i'm posting this here because this thread probably sees the most action related to freezing.

Tried calling and got the usual shpeel "6 - 8 weeks" - should i let it run it's course? No point in calling?

Frozen by the back end team so nothing to do

A family member was FRd: she works for cash so she doesnt file taxes. What can she say to the F/R rep as a good excuse why she doesnt file taxes. She is able to provide bank statements

She doesn't earn enough to file taxes

for someone who does not have a 2015 return, but has a 2016 extension, would amex accept that?

They will still want to see tax return or bank statements

But not right after you close your cards and apply for a new one do you get a fresh MR #

if one closes all mr cards, then when one applies for one, will they still be in the negative?
obviously if they aren't blacklisted f/red in the process.

If they get the same MR # then there will still be a negative
