Interesting to see the Trump supporters slowly coming to terms with him losing. The difference between a democratic & Republican senate is probably more significant than Harris VS Biden. I actually hope the republicans will keep the senate but I doubt it
I think there is very little chance that the dems take the senate. I think the presidential election is currently 65-35 Biden

Absolutely! You wouldn't want to be called a dumba$$ just because your neighbor eats soup with a fork.
Point well taken.

Looks pretty open...
Sorry, so you want me to just attack Cuomo and Newsom?

How many places in the US have closed schools?
New York in certain areas
I donít know about other areas, just saying we are basically the only country that has decided that schools should be the first to close.

Like they did on the Astros?
Horrible comparison

But schools will stay opened. Only in the US have we decided that schools must be closed.

Is the MLB going to explain what happened with Justin turner or are we just supposed to pretend it didnít happen?

If 2020 was a movie, here's how the directors would end it:

Barrett is confirmed, but she catches corona from Pence at her inauguration ceremony, and she dies. Biden wins and nominates Cuomo for the seat. Happy ending, Hollywood.
Good thing she already had corona so this wonít work.

Sounds enticing, but wind speed today is not conducive to kite-flying.
I didn't offer an argument, but expressed confusion.  Was the order that schools should be closed?  In which case, an unlocked door may be enough to warrant the summons. Or was the order that classes should not be in session?  In which case, it would seem necessary to actually examine the inside of the school.  In either case, the videographer's tone seems unnecessarily disrespectful.  Why doth he protest so much?  Politely take the inspector to view the empty classrooms, and she'd politely leave.
You didnít express confusion, you said that maybe this school was hiding the kids.

The guy was perfectly polite for someone who was gonna get hit with a 15k fine for doing nothing wrong.

I took issue with HT's tweet. That's all.
You canít say that no one should be surprised by NYC inspectors and then by surprised by HTís tweet. :)

I'm confused.  She's supposed to give a summons if the school is open, and the school is open.  She noted that from outside, by just trying the door.

In the video, she's inspecting the inside of the open school.  Maybe based on stories like this:

One father whose children attend several Orthodox schools in Borough Park said students are given a short window of time in the morning to arrive at school and in the afternoon to leave, apparently to minimize the amount of time students are seen entering and exiting the building. When inspectors arrived at one school, the father said, students were brought to one part of the building while the inspectors were shown the parts of the building that were empty.
So not only does Cuomo put all ďultra-orthodoxĒ Jews in the same basket, but apparently so do you. Go fly a kite. Youíre argument is that since one school did something like this other schools should be fined 15k for having the door unlocked?

Do you not realize how stereotypical that is?

What is that guidance based on?
That reinfection is nearly impossible within 90 days.

My daughter's school will B"H reopen tomorrow for in-person sessions.  The e-mail from the school said, in part, "If your daughter tested positive after July 28, and finished her quarantine, the DOH has now informed us that we can accept those results  in lieu of a current negative result."

So they're accepting assumed antibodies.
No theyíre not, theyíre accepting the CDC guidance that there is no need to get tested for 90 days after your positive test.
