I have no clue what caused him to cave, but he did.

What would happen if the courts were loaded with lawsuits from every parent? & every business? & every shul & church etcÖ
They would enjoin the lawsuits.

I hate stupid anonymous quotes, only meant to make people nervous and with no accountability if (when?) they are wrong. We need to hold people accountable for things like this
Person should lose their job and any ability to be involved in virus decision making process if they are wrong
Itís like when fauci said we would have 100k cases a day in the summer.

None of this will matter in a few weeks. NY's cases will be high enough that they'll be focused on NY, not the other 49 states.
Eh, Cuomo will keep twisting the numbers to make them look good so he could stroke his ego and criticize other states and the president.

Cuomo said he will ask NJ/CT to restrict non essential travel to NY

Watch Cuomo find a way to use statistics to just add Ocean County and exempt the rest of the state.
Donít give him any ideas.

NJ and CT should both be added to the list today.

Does anyone know if it is legal according to the letter of the current law for schools in red-zone zip codes to open in other neighborhoods that are not red or orange?
as long as itís not an illegal gathering it should be fine.

Had more people taken him seriously back when he started warning, more lives wouldíve been saved. 1000%
Let me remind for those that've forgotten. Miamonides was overflowing, huge tent in middle of the street, freezer trucks outside for the dead, chapels overflowing with bodies.
Had he not been so hysterical people wouldíve been more inclined to hear him out. Some of the stuff he said in the beginning even if he was generally right was so crazy that he lost people.

Additionally, their fundraiser/concert is likely what opened the floodgates for going back to regular weddings. (Everybody knew it wasn't socially distanced despite what they showed on screen.)
Itís sad that you have no shame in making such accusations. Just like you accused the Lakewood leadership of a massive coverup but it turned out that antigen tests arenít counted. You lob accusations at people who do a lot of good with the only shred of evidence being an anecdote you heard from one person.

It was a perfect analogy.   Boy who cried wolf was spot on the last time as well.
He was spot on the first time. It went all downhill from there.

As someone once aptly put it on DDF "He's the boy that cried wolf. The wolf showed up."

I don't know if listening would have saved lives (the degree of identicality of death rates across all zipcodes in NYC carries an element of insinuation that shutdowns were too little too late everywhere), but he certainly wasn't wrong that we were playing with fire.
Itís a terrible analogy because he was spot on in the beginning but then decided to use his platform for baseless attacks on Jews that werenít listening to him later on.
