Match Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan elite status to Delta Medallion status for 3 months (and then extend with qualifying activity) as follows:
Alaska MVP =  Delta Gold
Alaska MVP Gold / MVP Gold 75K =  Delta Platinum
If you start the challenge now and meet the requirements to extend, your Delta status will only be valid until January 31, 2020 (i.e. about 7 months from now). If you start the challenge on or after July 1st (just over a month from now) and meet the requirements to extend, your Delta status would be valid until January 31, 2021. That’s about 18 months. Of course, the rub is that we don’t know whether or not Delta intends to continue the bumped-up match. If you have MVP Gold status, you’d be risking whether your future match is to Delta Platinum or Delta Gold.

I matched my delta silver to alaska mvp and then matched back to delta and i now have a delta gold challenge.

Is there any star alliance program that let's you redeem flight of other passengers into your account?
egypt air

Delta says a technical problem is disrupting applications that book, board and check in passengers.
The Atlanta-based airline said flights would be delayed because of the problem.

on another note, can my Amex account not link to more than 1 QF account?
dont think so and the name on the qf account must match the name on the amex account

I have an interesting dp.
I transferred 500 points on 6/3 which was before amex was running the 20% promo and the transfer went through as 1:1
On June 11 I was awarded 20%.
I think this can confirm it's a separate promo as amex wouldn't give me the 20% extra since this was before the promo start date.
i can confirm on this had the same thing

How to Complete a Status Challenge Request

You can send an email to request a status challenge with American Airlines, but we recommend calling AAdvantage customer service at 888-697-5636.

Have your AAdvantage frequent flyer number and any record locators for upcoming trips with American on hand, as you will be asked for this information.

The representative will answer your questions, let you know which challenge you’re eligible for, inform you of the cost, and then sign you up for the appropriate status challenge.

You will have 90 days to complete the requirements of the challenge for which you have registered.

The customer service representative will also send you a confirmation email reiterating all of the terms/conditions of the status challenge.
