My points just expired, anyway to get them back?
Thank you for contacting a member of our Senior leadership team, they have asked that I respond on their behalf. I appreciate the opportunity to review this matter.

I understand you are very concerned and frustrated regarding the expired points for your loyalty account and rest assured I have fully reviewed this matter with the appropriate leadership teams.

I have verified we received the initial contact regarding this matter on 10-17-19 which was received by the loyalty department. I have confirmed the loyalty department advised through multiple emails that the points were nonrefundable due to our terms and conditions.

This case was assigned to the executive customer service department on 11-22-19. Following this I was assigned the matter and I personally advised in my email correspondence that the resolution will remain the same as previously mentioned by the loyalty department that no points will be reinstated. I received an additional inquiry to reconsider this decision.

I have deliberated with my leadership team and it has been determined the decision not to refund the points is firm and will not be reconsidered. Please keep in mind continual requests received regarding this matter will now be considered abusive behavior and can result in a do not rent status being placed upon your profile.

While I understand this may not be the outcome you anticipated I hope you respect our position on this matter as we consider this matter fully addressed. Please know we take all your concerns seriously and I appreciate the opportunity to review this matter. Keep in mind this is the highest level of authority that can be reached on a corporate level and this is the final decision on this matter and any further inquires will not be considered as this matter has been closed. Please do not hesitate to raise future concerns and thank you for choosing Hertz.

Warm regards,

Lori Bassett

Just to give you an idea, a lease buyout for a Nissan Altima with 24k miles was 12,500$.
Expect to pay more as it's Honda and 2017, as well only 16k miles.
yup hard to compare those numbers

Go anywhere for a few months then quote it out again and change to a cheaper carrier. Worked for me many years ago. (IIRC it's sort of like the inability to get credit when you don't have a credit score but you can't get a credit score unless you have credit.)
did this and got great quote with Nationwide from spero insurance in Baltimore
