Credit Cards / Re: Best Cashback card for general purchases?

we're talking about cash back. If he wants travel then he should go for the chase trifecta....
Amex blue cash preferred gives 6% on the first 6k of groceries, 3% for gas, 1% for everything else. Has a $95 annual fee so if you just use it for 6k in groceries you'll net about 4.5%.
Also get more with biz plat book with rewards. 35% back
thanks everybody for trying to help out but im still not left with any clear answers for which cards to get...?

you can't redeem Amex mr points for straight Cash back at 1cent per point. They give .7 cents per point so 4 points per dollar is really 2.8 cents per dollar. Furthermore they don't give straight Cash back or even statement credit it goes based on your purchases for example if you have 1000 mr points and a $100 dollar statement they won't give you $7  off your statement ( .7 cents per point x1000 =$7)  only if you had a $7 purchase in that statement would you be able to redeem this 1000 points for that transaction. Even the amex Cash back cards ( blue cash...) Don't give cash back, only statement credits in increments of $25
thanks. sounds more right. back to the drawing table for cash back cards with highest % for each catergory...

Open a Sapphire Reserve, sell the points, and then pay cash for 3 years. Youíll come out way ahead.
i used to have spg which at the time was highest value for selling points but have since switched to cb cards. im not just looking to open and close cards while making $ off sign-up bonuses

TAG recommends Exalt, because if you reset the phone, you may be able to reset filter on Kyocera. I have Kyocera. I like that it has a front screen (whereas Exalt doesn't). It's a little cheaper than Exalt, and Verizon rep told me that he personally thinks Kyocera is a better phone. Exalt is wider but Kyocera is a little heavier. Kyocera is an upgrade from my previous 3G phone, but there's definitely stuff that I still have to get used to.

BTW, if you want to block the internet but still allow email, TAG can only do it on the Exalt (They flash a new software onto Exalt, but on the Kyocera, they only block the internet.)
any other differences? why do they say Kyocera is better?
