Bravo Midtown's new rule.

While we're at it, does it make sense to do Mauna Kea and the volcanoes in one day? We're staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Nothing to see at the volcano these days, it's all pretty dormant after the last eruption. A bit of steam, and lots of devastation, if that's your thing.

Time-wise it can certainly work though.

You're not even "allowed" to stay after sunset.  You can go back to the visitor center and look through the telescopes they have there.

This. They kick everyone off before it gets dark enough to see stars. Go to the visitor's center, they have telescopes and such set up.

Popolopen Creek, NY:

Back in 2013, but I just bumped into those so I may as well share.

Fall sunrise, from the Rt. 9W overpass over the Popolopen Creek. You can see the creek, its footbridge, and the railroad trestle. Beyond that is the Hudson River, the Bear Mountain Bridge, and Anthonys Nose.

For someone who knew absolutely nothing about airlines, aircraft, or flying 20 years ago, this is like an alternate universe.

Oy, I give up.

If you folks can't understand the difference between scheduled, commercial air service from fixed and coded locations, and trains or sleepaway camp, having this convo every two months won't help.
