Up In The Air / Re: Carry On Luggage
« on: February 25, 2020, 03:55:06 PM »
Lately I've been traveling more for work and I'm looking into upgrading my hand luggage. I was hoping some of the more seasoned travelers can help me find the right luggage for me.

Here is the criteria:

Most interior room possible while still being allowed on the flight
Good movement for the long walks through the terminals
Lightweight
Good bang for the buck

Bonus Criteria:

Ability to expand
Exterior Pockets
Here's what I use:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P1SFHK3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Fits all your criteria including bonus criteria

+1. Please!
Hmmm, sorry don't have the link. I was on a United flight and it was 1 of the options available to watch. Try taking a United flight if you get really desperate  ;)

Can new routes be launched that quickly? This grounding could potentially be very temporary if a flu vaccine is developed or transmissions slow down.
Yes. Just watched a short United video describing exactly this process.

Anyone having issues with return protection (on a card which lost this benefit) for items purchased in December? I filed a claim a week ago and usually get refunded in 2 days or so, however so far I haven't heard a/t from Amex.
Finally got my refund...so I'm guessing it's all just taking a lot more time than previously

There are no nonstops from CHS to MCO/DAB and itís not a hub of any airline so would definitely not be a stopover.
You mean CHS is not a hub of a/airline?

Does anyone know if there's an airline flying from NY/NJ to MCO/DAB area with a stop in CHS?

"New York state sued President Donald Trumpís administration on Monday to void a policy barring hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers from federal programs that help travelers speed through airport security lines and borders, calling the ban political punishment."

Just Shmooze / Re: Bloomberg vs Trump 2020

Can Bloomberg get Trump voters? I think he would be just as great for the economy and really good on foreign policy. And you don't have to hold your nose as tight.
Might just end up splitting the R voters if he ends up going 3rd party causing a possible D win
