Any idea how long security takes at MDW in afternoons? Have a 610 flight (southwest), checking bags. My wife doesn't have pre check. Is 1:15 enough time? She can go to regular security line while I tkae care if bags and go to precheck.
Ummm 1:15 - 6:10 is about 5 hours. Why would u need that long???

Any suggestions for a unique hotel in Chicago -pref Marriott, although others are fine?
(To give you an idea of what I'm looking for: I just stayed at Belamere suites(OH) and in Gaylord Opryland in Nashville. While each is diff, I absolutely loved them both and highly recommend:) )

Which hechsher?

Thoughts about Galita in Tzuba versus De Karina?

https://www.funinjerusalem.com/galita/

Dunno much about Galita, We chose De Karina as that was on sis's camp itinerary and they loved it. De K also has an awesome 'shake bar' with amazing hot or cold chocolate...drinks,shakes etc

I was there the past summer and they had an "OK" +another one can't remember
Did it with my kids too this yr and each product has hechsher printed on it.
As a side note, they charge you more if you want to do the chocolate at the "same table" with your kids. No need to pay xtra as you choose where you want to sit anyhow. (Fill ur molds w/the white chocolate -it's heaven!)

no sympathy from me. I'm a BOS--NYC RT with a full day of work  same day  kinda a guy. It's an out of town thing. It took my wife some time to learn the beauty of BOS-NYC non-stop with four kids. Now she says there's no other way to do it.
Not looking for sympathy, just a simple suggestion for a/t to do/see on the way f/Clev to Toledo?

I recently found a hotel with an in-suite pool. Though not in the tri-state area, it is definitely closer than Las Vegas or Florida. It is called Belamere Suites, and is off Interstate 80, near Toledo, OH. It is about a 2 hour drive west from Cleveland. I stayed there for two nights and was extremely pleased. It is much more classy than what the reports coming out of the Cove Poconos seemed to indicate about the cheesiness of those resorts. There are three suite selections: Jacuzzi (500 sq feet), Pool (1000 sq feet) and the top tier is a Pool suite but bigger- 1500 sq feet on two stories. They book up a few weeks in advance, and the only one I was able to get for the dates I needed was the biggest one, and I was extremely pleased. They are not affiliated with any points program, AFAIK, so you must pay full price. IMO, it was worth every penny. Every suite has a one-car garage. There are no windows, and their policy is not to allow children at all. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean.

I'm thinking of sleeping here later this week. Is there anything to do in the area?

it's a long drive for some people. It's like going from Monsey to Lakewood . You gotta stop at least twice

I'm flying to Cleveland later this week, then driving to Detroit- (sleeping in Toledo for the night). I wouldn't mind a short stop somewhere along the way. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Any ideas of where to stop off on the way from Cleveland to Toledo? Is Chagrin Falls or Cuyahoga on the way?
