so i'm new to this whole thing...i wanted to xfer spg to marriot to then xfer to sw for the 7 nights and companion pass...my understanding is sw took away that ability in beginning of the year, but now is allowing it until 3/31...is that true?

Any other opinions on David Chu vs. Umami, Knish vs. Accents, and Mama Leah vs. Tov Pizza?
What not to miss at any of those places?

you can't go wrong with chu's or umami...chu's is your regular run of the mill chinese place, and umami, is maybe a touch nicer and better, but either way you'll be fine [at umami's - if you like pad thai, theirs is really good]

knish shop i think is better, but is mainly a deli place, that has sushi also, so if you want other stuff as part of your fleishig fortified supper accents has deli, sushi, and the other regulars of a fleishig place (eg - steak, salads...)
[knish shop - any deli sandwich will be great]

in regards to mama leah's vs tov's - personally, neither of them i think are that great, mama leah's is a little more "restaurant style" pizza store, whereas tov's is your regular pizza joint...if you had to pick one - if you're looking for a sit down place, go for mama leah's, if not, go tov's 
[if you're at mama leah's try their garlic knots, very different than the run of the mill, and good]

I'll second that about the Knish Shop...best place to eat down here in chutz la'aretz...not the prettiest restaurant, but still great nonetheless
Accents is decent, not great, not terrible, but like somebody said - very slow
If you're looking for quick greasy take out food, you can go to Kosher Bite, or if you're feeling nostalgic, you can go to the recently opened up Dougies

As per London Beth Din's website- "All Kahlua is approved, except when purchased in the USA"

While you're at it, they also hold that Bailey's is kosher (albeit dairy)

I just booked tickets to san juan, pr, and made reservations at the marriott over there....anyone ever been to that marriott or san juan? and have any ideas of what to do there? I have no problems just hanging out, but curious if there's anything cool over there that I wouldn't want to miss..

We were just in San Fran...the only kosher food in san francisco proper is sabra grill, and it might have been the worst restaurant ever, and to add insult to injury it was super expensive...for example - a hamburger was $25, yeah, and it sucked

The Kitchen Table, in Mountain view is pretty nice, and it's about 45 mins outside of san fran...if you're in san fran long enough, I suggest taking a drive down the coast to monteray and carmel, it's a beautiful drive, and monteray is very nice, and they have an excellent aquarium...and you can hit up kitchen table on the way back (thats what we did)

If you're into nature, try muir woods (the redwood forest north of the gg bridge), and definitely try land's end (western part of san fran) which was really nice, despite the terrible weather we had

also if you want a good laugh, hit up haight-ashbury - the birth of the hippie movement...you can spend a whole day there people watching

So I'm at the airport now at bwi, and told the check in abt the silver status, gave them my numbers, and even had a screenshot showing it as silver, but the guy said on his system it didn't say silver, and had to pay for baggage...anyone? Does anyone know customer service email ?

Just called United, and told them I'm silver on BMI, and they said that they don't offer free bags checked (she said they only offer priority check in, and stand-by)...flying out of bwi to oak today on united, so hopefully at the airport ill be able to get a different answer...anybody have any suggestions?
