Definitely not. It has four initials. You'll have no clue it's from the mint besides for the weight.
Very true about the weight - it's a shame you can't have it delivered straight to the bank!  :)

Strangely enough, it costs the mint a bundle in overnight shipping charges & credit card fees, and then the bank has to pay $$ to send it back to the mint!     One time when I shlepped in $4,000 in coins, the teller at Chase asked me if I had any more!   I meekly replied that I do, and then he asked me to bring in the rest of my stash ($11,000)- so they will only have to pay once for shipping - crazy!

Up In The Air / Re: Going ElAl with AA miles

If its the same day, should work.
You may want to call to confirm.
I flew a few months ago from JFK to Toronto via AA, and then EL AL to Israel on Business - using AAdvantage points (the direct flight was not available).   No matter how hard I tried, I could not convince AA to let me take 3 suitcases of 70 lb from JFK to Toronto, even though I was able to prove to them that EL AL allows 3.   They said they go by their own computer - not what's on the web...

How's your credit? have you been applying for any of the other recent promotions??

I've been denied by Chase a few times recently, and recently cancelled a few of my cards (I have so many!  :) ), but will try to re-apply for the AMEX Platinum and other cards after 60 days.   The best line that seems to work with the CSR's is that I need to cancel because I have too much outstanding credit, and "last in first out"...

I currently have 50K in my AA account (after purchasing 2 business class tickets to Israel) - but if I can show a statement from a few months back then I have way more than 100K in AA miles.

My wife has about 87K in Delta from the last "dans" promotion  :)

I applied & both my wife & I were approved right away! :)

Still haven't received any email from them, so I'm not sure of all the details as to what documentation they need, but will post as soon as I get it.

I love this site ;)
